Was your issue with price protection address related, name related, or something else?My purchase agreement matched my order placed in 2022 for the 2023 transition. To the penny. I too will have to wait for the price protection check from ford, but otherwise, any price increases for 2023 were taken off by Granger. Picking up within the hour!
I'm being told I will get a check made out to the DMV to take with me. They won't mail it directly.Same. I would much prefer to cut the check to the DMV when I get mine registered, that way there no risk anything gets lost or not credited properly. Knowing the CA DMV, they will receive the funds but won't have any record of this and it will be a miserable extended process trying to sort it all out. Ugh, we were so close to getting in before this change!
That would be **much** simpler.I'm being told I will get a check made out to the DMV to take with me. They won't mail it directly.
I live 10 minutes away and can confirm it is a very full lot with lots of Broncos and their sold stickers just waiting for the owners. I've seen mine but am waiting patiently with everyone else in the que for the call from the Finance department. The end is in sight- It sounds like they are processing in order of received date.Congrats! How was the lot - packed?
Agreed, much better and should be workable. Still an extra step that just adds annoyance and no value but this is much preferred to relying on the DMV to receive and then properly credit the amount. That would be **much** simpler.
Apparently a few bad actors flipped their Broncos before registering and paying taxes causing charge-backs to the dealer.Agreed, much better and should be workable. Jumping title is actually a crime. Too bad it’s never enforced.Apparently a few bad actors flipped their Broncos before registering and paying taxes causing charge-backs to the dealer.
Still packedCongrats! How was the lot - packed?
Well, I don’t blame them one bit. Why should they get burned for being an upfront dealer and some asshat comes along and jumps his title. Not sure that Granger can necessarily do it this way. If the buyer states they are registering in another state they aren’t legally required to collect. Most if not all of our original agreements are for the purchase price, doc fee and temp tag. The titling/licensing headaches are going to just add to this never ending saga!
Address related. I moved in the last three years. Was your issue with price protection address related, name related, or something else?
