Cactus Gray Paint actual color?

Silly discussion with a guy at work yesterday...

I bought my 24 BB 4-door SAS in Cactus Gray without seeing it. It was in North Germany and I am in Portugal - military sales. Online colors were different depending on the computer/monitor I was using. So I was a little worried.

But then when I went to pick it up and saw it I was relieved. I really like it.

Fast forward to discussion with friends... I was describing my color issue above and said some pages had it more white, other dark Gray, and then either more gray/green or gray/blue... but when I saw it I was happy to see that it was xyz.... he has seen it and disagreed with me on what I say the color is.

Regardless on if you like the color or not what color or colors does everyone see when they see the Cactus Gray color?

To me it looks gray unless it's up against a "true" gray or white. Then it pretty obviously has a green tint to it.

BUT, it must depend on how it reflects the light. Was snapping some photos the other day of my Bronco which has gotten trashed by a bunch of squirrels going after mulberries, and... it looks more blue to me than green (particularly the third photo). So... whatever.

Depending on the lighting I see gray/green-ish or gray/light blue-ish.

It changes colors to me at different times. Overcast day/rain - more gray than anything , total sunshine gray/ blue tint , sometimes even dull robins egg . I love the color. When they first announced the new Broncos that was the color I loved and reminded me of the old classics

Dunno but it’s almost as good as Area 51

I describe it as sage, but I'm from the great basin where we have plenty of sage. After 2.5 years, I'm still happy with the color. The best part is that the color doesn't really look dirty, even when it's filthy.
