All the criticism is because of the looks. I don't think people understand the magic under the skin. It is a BEAST and I want one.

What's under the skin is what matters. So much is upgraded on this. Never considered the 4-door. I would buy the Raptor in a heart beat.

I'm afraid the color-matched fenders wouldn't look a whole lot better - it's the shape of them that is awkward

With body color fenders, it starts to looks more like a Wrangler.

We bring you a look at a Cactus Gray Bronco Raptor from all angles. Spotted just this morning out testing.

Seems to me, there is a lack of fluid visuals here. The appearance is one of stuck on, parts bin objects. I don't understand as there are bigger dragons to slay in the current inventory wait.
I am perplexed. I AM BUMMED.

Front fender isn't terrible, I guess, but the rear fender design is horrible. Looks like a slapped on JC Whitney / Autozone discounted special.

Indeed! It so hard to get used to that rear fender flare.

Everytime I see it my mind just ask one question "Why?"

The little tacked on inner flap piece is a joke. First off it’s a different color, and on the front it doesn’t even protect the body side from rock shots. Look just above the side step, there is a little triangle of salt spray. I know first hand that also means there will be rocks pinging off the body there. It needs to come down at least to the bottom of the step/slider.

Idk what the purpose of the inner flap on the rear. Maybe just a support to keep the lawn edging from flapping in the breeze?
