I just emailed back and forth with my dealer after getting an ad in the mail from Ford saying "your new vehicle is at ******** Ford," and sent him a picture jokingly, asking if that meant my Bronco was there.

He responded by telling me my order has been pulled.

I'm expecting an email this week.

Early second day reservation. Number 7 at the dealer. BL non-sas. Mid package, tow, 2.7 and MIC. Still no email not even to ask if I wanted to delete any of the sins. Test drove a Rubicon 4xe and Diesel yesterday. Getting very tempted.

This is completely my thought process. I don't care whose Bronco they build first just start knocking them out so the line gets smaller.

I realize you might not know the answer to this, but this “scheduling” Ford does, is this just for US orders or would they follow the same process/time line for Canadian orders too?

Sorry if that’s a stupid question, but I wonder if there’s a different process (heck, we don’t even get emails about our orders from Ford).

No idea. Some of the stuff I've seen on here from Canadian customers does not align with US coms. I assume they follow Ford announcements to some degree but timing may be slightly different.

My assumption is that both Canadian and u.s customers are the same when it comes to reservation and build dates, my dealer told me they have 5 priority orders and Ford selected them all by reservation date! So it depends on how early of a reservation you have with your dealer to get build first! So that every dealer has broncos coming this summer!

So, whom exactly, is Ford talking to when they come out with a memo to switch to soft tops and away from other constrained commodities to increase build chances by the 12th, and then again by the 19th? They’re certainly not talking to FE customers since those commodities are baked into the cake. Why set artificial deadlines when compliance by the requested dates for two consecutive weeks are inconsequential to July scheduling. It is for reasons exactly like this that people are losing confidence in Fords ability to deliver. No multi-billion dollar company is that stupid or incompetent. They are either stringing us along to buy time, or flat out lying to us........choose your poison I suppose.

A lot of those commodities are "baked into the cake" on WTs also

5 priority? Wow. We converted 54 of 59 reservations and only got one priority. If that's accurate, either that dealer has an in with someone on the Bronco team or they have different rules for the special people north of the border.

There are an average of something like 40 orders per dealership. Giving each dealer 1 priority build to give to their best customer, grandmother, top employee, influencer, local politician, barber or barista seems perfectly okay and legit to me. Dealers ARE Ford's customers and the ones they rely on to sell ALL Ford vehicles and keep them in business.

The butthurt I'm reading is comical. Your $100 entitles you to a new Bronco and that's KICKASS! If you were at all early to the party, you will get your Bronco well before Johnny Q Public will be able to get one. FUKN relax!

This is some of the Deepest Ford Blue Kool-Aideiest of Kool Aide posts I've seen around here, and that's really saying something. I think Jim Farley could slap you in the face and you'd thank him and ask for another.

Delays after delays plus "priority builds" and finding out reservation timestamp means far less than they said at the beginning. People have solid reasons to be at least a bit upset.
