It's almost like Ford has been snooping around here and reading our grumblings, because this is the complete opposite of what they have been messaging. No FEs, no priority...heavily skewed to MIC, tow, and lux. Are they trying to drive us insane!? I wonder if they are taking the initiative to 'quickly' hit on some of the earliest allocations at the dealerships, which are probably enthusiast builds that are fairly loaded / sasquatch builds...then revert back to what they said they were going to do. Because there are clearly a lot of early reservation holders that are/will get increasingly annoyed.

This is the same thing my dealer has told us, so it at least seems consistent

FWIW, I would not email any customers about a Tuesday preview. The Thursday preview is the one that really matters. I've already stated multiple times that it's not uncommon for one to preview on Tuesday, and be completely gone by Thursday, replaced with something else by the time the computer is doing it's final calculations. But I guess some dealers may not care if their customers preview gets yanked. I would be upset if that happened to me. I'm not notifying any of our customers, as Ford will do that the day of the final preview. That's the email I'd rely on.

Just my $.02

Don't forget Ford did not complete all communicated allocations for all dealers for the first "wave". I suspect some of this is cleanup to complete that.

Screw it. I was firm on my original 2-door with MIC. The MIC issue got me thinking about soft, which got me thinking about 4-door, which resulted in realizing the soft is a much more practical option for me, as is the 4-door. Not in a rationalizing, settle-for-less way but rather now I am extremely pumped about my revised build, even though it costs a lot more. No desire to flip back now that we see MICs are coming.

I truly do suspect this was Ford’s goal—to create a spike in order changes for more expensive builds. Only four-doors have soft tops. Four-doors cost more than two-doors.

I just emailed back and forth with my dealer after getting an ad in the mail from Ford saying "your new vehicle is at ******** Ford," and sent him a picture jokingly, asking if that meant my Bronco was there.

He responded by telling me my order has been pulled.

I'm expecting an email this week.

Any idea where you were within your dealers allocation?
