I didn't get a chance to weigh the tongue before taking the boat back to storage in Needles, so I'll have to weigh it later this year. I assume its in the 450 pound range, but I really do need to get an accurate measurement soon before I tow too much with the Bronco. We've got a Suburban we will use most of the time, but I know I'll use the Bronco on short trips.

I actually just weighed on a truck scale this morning. The tongue weight is right on 450. The overall boat weight though is almost 5,500... so I guess I won't be towing with the Bronco much.

6x12 v-nose cargo trailer turned into basic camper. About 1900 lb empty weight. 250 lb tongue weight.

Just pulled the boat out of the garage to test run on the garden hose.
The wife had the truck so I hitched up the Bronco!
pulled it out and back in with no problem!

Got any pics of the hitch you’re using? I’m trying to visualize the difference between a “hitch extension” and an “extra-long hitch”…

Hi, I am interested in getting into RV camping. Can you possibly share the full mode name of this RV and the Jayco you posted above? I would need an RV the bronco could pull.

We looked at these and they seem low weight and nice looking for a new Bronco!

That has been a thing for Uhaul for several decades. Welcome to soft top ownership. Kind of sucks.

But only soft-top SUVs! Soft top sports cars or coupes seem to be ok with UHaul. Go figure! Probably stems from the roll-over prone Suzuki Samurais from the 80s !
