Bronco vs Raptor Seats

Okay, so I made the biggest mistake I could have made...

Was at the dealer, they had a BRaptor in the showroom and like an idiot, I opened up the door and sat down.

I'm sure many of you have done this, but I haven't and unless you feel like either missing out or dropping more cash - Do Not Do This!

Damn those seats are off the charts comfortable, and all I want to know is how do I get comparable seats and what will it cost?

Does Katskin have some way of making this happen?

Do you need completely new everything?

Is it just more padding and covers?

Has anyone done this?
And why doesn't Ford have theses in other trims or at least an upgrade?

Well I just made thi biggest mistake of reading this!!!

Now I’m going to go find one and sit in it and end up spending $$$$ because I want better seats in my bronco!!!!

Speaking from my experience, you are correct it is a night and day difference. I had a wildtrak and the butt of the seat felt short and tin. My legs would cramp after a bit. The seats of my raptor seam much thicker and a bit longer in the butt of the seat.

I'm no expert on anything interior related but I would think you could do a seat swap as long as your non raptor had heated seats. (Not sure if the raptor comes without heated seats)

Test drove a BRaptor last week and as soon as I sat down I blurted out "this seat is amazing!".

Traded both of our Bronco's in for the Raptor the next day. There's more to that than just the seats, but the seats are amazing.

I agree 100%. I like the seats in our 2 DR BB just fine, but the Raptor seats are fantastic in comparison. The day I picked it up, I drove it 700 miles and wasn't stiff at all. They are very comfortable.

Confirmed. Raptor seats are significantly more comfortable than “regular” Bronco seats and I have owned MGV (manual adjustable seats) and the plaid leather (power adjustable) in Heritage LE.

Drove 2 hours yesterday to play in the mud and it was a pleasure! The cleaning not so much…

I test drove a raptor and badlands in the same day, raptor first. When I sat in the badlands my first thought comfort wise was 'oh no'. I went home with a raptor lol

That's what my sales guy said when I told him how great the Raptor seats are.

No, cooling requires ventilated material (atleast Katzkin cooling systems). I opted out of the micro holes in favor of being able to wipe the dirt/grime out after a day in the woods.

And my Bronco BB w/katzkin seats did not have any additional padding, my Braptor seats blow them out of the water.

I imagine that you could bolt in the raptor seats to a regular bronco. Just need to find a wreaked raptor

Love my Braptor seats - super comfortable - did ~3hr round trip in them (6hrs total) only stopping to load up my tube doors... Fantastic!

Well, I have a negative on the Braptor seats. I have a 2024, purchased in March, and the side support seats need more padding. The support bars are wearing through and very uncomfortable. They are a literally a pain the A@@. I have been working with Ford and the dealer to fix the issue but no fixes as of yet. It seems quality control was lacking on my build! Lots of other issues too.
