That got me thinking about who actually owns the Austin name these days, BMW sold off Land Rover, Rover and all the other British British nameplates it owned when they bought Rover/MG, they only kept MINI. Apparently Nanjing Motor Corporation owns it, they build MG's which are sold in China and Europe. I read where they were thinking about reviving the name.
I welcome more offroaders to the market, as long as they’re not solely EVs

fortunate to have been able to finally get my 2 dr BL on the 16th. It was worth the wait. First mod is window tint on the front door glass, then undercoating and rust proofing. Going to add fogs, remove the rear seats, attach canoe brackets on the crossbars, and eventually a front mounted winch. Waiting on someone to build a decent winch mount plate that workks on the front modular bumper.

Replaced my back seats with a free floating deck. Yet to cut out the carpet for the trap door, which is built in before I put the carpet cover on.

Seriously considering the same reconfig. I was curious how easy it was to modify the wiring for the seatbelt? Simple disconnect or other mods involved?

It is a very simple process.
The area is not about 42.25" wide at the back and 53" inches long. At the front wings out at the front and is 53" wide.

Cheers,

HD

B-but the wiring Hippyman...the wiring. Anything out of the norm besides a simple disconnect? Looking to fill the recess area with inverter/deep cycle battery bank.
