Install is just running the power wire and the rear camera wire. I ran those up to the trim along the windshield and along the driver side. I went easy/lazy and ran the rear camera wire along the roll bar. The power went under the trim then under the floor mat and up into the console. I might at some point run power from the fuse box. Also there is GPS dongle I ran it along the trim above the windshield on the passenger side and down to the dash and just sat it there on my silicon dash mat. It hasn't moved.

It is full time rear view for me. You can turn it and and use it as regular mirror. Because the field of view is much taller and wider than the mirror allows you can adjust the view wider and up/down.
This easy as the it is a touchscreen and you just drag your finger. You can turn on or off features like clock, compass, speed that display on the mirror. You full screen front or back view or split screen them both.

As a dash cam, disclaimer I'm a noob at this, one weakness I see is that it does not have wifi to use to download files. You will have to pull the memory card and put it into pc for that. The recording can be viewed one the mirror. Recording is advertised as either 2k or 4k front and 1080 back. Night video through back camera is grainy but if you used the mirror at that point you would not have enough light to see regardless.

Adding pic of mirror camera in action.

Is there any delay in the video when used as a rear-view mirror?

Not much lag that I notice but I do notice a little jumpy-ness sometimes when turning. I may be more prone to this since I've done lots of PC gaming at 120fps+ and the camera runs at 30fps.

At this point I can't see going back to a regular mirror.

Thanks, I keep a window shade in the back windows at all times, so have been considering something like this to restore some rear visibility.

I have a backup camera system for my trailers and camper that have a wireless feed with a noticeable delay, so just curious of these, being wired, are better. Sounds like it's good enough!

The raptor does it come with some type of lift? I have a 2021 Outer Banks. I just installed a 3.5 lift but probally closer to 4'' I am running K02'S AS WELL BUT 35/17/12.5 Plenty of room for clearence now. Thinking of also going with either 39's Do u have any rubbing or bad ride issues with a bigger tire?

Highly recommend regearing to 5.38 or doing the spicer 44/60. I started with 4.7 and 35” and upgraded to 38”. This really slowed it down and killed the acceleration from stock. New 5.38 axles completely changed the ride - my 2.3 will leave stock Raptors on the starting line- it is that significant. I had no idea of how much power I had lost because I had a lot of performance mods that made it seem ok.

Hey, love this look!

Any rubbing?
Tailgate handle the weight OK?
Gearing? You think you'll stay stock or regear?

Thanks!

Fitting big tires at ride height isn't hard.

You need to cycle the suspension at various steering angles to actually see if they fit.
