Bronco build week 9/18/2023

Raptor, Code Orange, Orange seat belts, nothing else. It just doesn't need any options to be fantastic. Relevant dates in my signature.

So thrilled to be getting a 2023 instead of 2024. Both sooner and much, much cheaper. Well, unless the UAW strike on Ford. I wonder if they would resume or cancel orders?

FWIW I got an Allocation/VIN last Thursday for the 9/18/2023 buildweek but was just emailed 10 minutes ago saying they are bumping me up to the 9/11/2023 build week. 4 door Badlands build.

I officially went into production today. No idea what that means if a strike happens. It sounds like the engine and transmission plants for Bronco would be targeted and I doubt those components of my build are built yet.

just got an update right now that my bronco is now in production with my scheduled week of 09/18 not sure how this is possible with the strike definitely not getting my hopes but up did anyone else with a build week of 09/18 get an update like this? I still can’t see my window sticker yet though.

I have exactly the same timeline. I went into production this Wed. I still can't see my window sticker either. I think we are safely GOING to get '23MY vehicles at '23 prices. It's obviously just going to take longer.

Deep irony here in that it really seems that FMC just got a handle on Bronco supply chain and on a lot of the delays. Production numbers were very good last month (14k). Now the strike.

I agree I definitely think we are going to be able to get our build just curious to see how ford is going to get it done. I’m so glad the anticipation of the strike is over and that it has happened. I saw someone say on another post that ford Provided an update that they were still going to be making progress on the builds which I’m assuming is how I got an update today but I haven’t seen any updates other than that post in another thread.

I guess the good part is parts suppliers are going to be able to start to catch up now. With no Bronco’s being built but suppliers continuing to run will mean lots of constraints will be cleared out. Saving Ford money by not having to expedite the parts too.

SInce it is the Paint and final assembly plant, I would guess they would continue everything else and ours will sit in a lot awating the plant to open back up to paint it.
