Since my Bronco is waiting to be unloaded, is it better to call the dealer or Ford Marketing to get an eta?

How is everyone getting updates on their broncos I try emailing the dealer I ordered through and they give short responses. I got this from ford tracking just curious if there was any other ways to get updates or track

You need to try to get you rail car number from Ford then you can track using these instructions. There’s sticky at the top of this forum with more details on the tracking. Ford Marketing said they couldn’t give me the car # but I was able to get it through the Ford chat. Just keep trying until someone gives it up.

Railway/Tracking info:
CSX
1. Call the CSX 1-800-235-2352
2. When prompted for location or weight, press "1" on your phone for location.
3. When prompted for the car initials, say CN (or whatever initials you have) then wait for the next prompt.
4. When prompted for the car number, say 907048 (or whatever your number is)
5. When prompted for next car say DONE
6. That's it; enjoy your updated status report.

Union Pacific (UP)
1. Call UP at 1 800 877-5123 1 800 877-5123
2. Follow phone prompts for Trace
3. Say the railcar number complete and clearly. Example CN123456 all together
4. Listen for your update

Norfolk Southern (NS)
1. Call 800-635-5768
2. Press 2.
3. Press 2.
4. Enter the letters on the numeric keypad then press #. As in: TTGX will be 8849
5. Enter the numbers then press #. It wasn't taking my voice prompts but typing worked.

What the heck is this all about?!?!?!?!

I have absolutely no idea how the whole “leave a rubber duck on someone’s jeep” thing got started but it seems a jeep owner tradition is starting to be carried over to Broncos too. I don’t know if a jeep owner or bronco owner left the rubber ducky on my bronco but it was cool.

I will say though, I’ve too many mods on my list to purchase for the Bronco so I’m not going to be buying any rubber ducks to hand out any time soon!!!

I believe based on the tracker update today that the truck was delivered to the dealer....

Would be nice if they confirmed via email or a call.

I had to let my salesguy know that mine had come in yesterday but it was more a matter of timing and the fact that several had been delivered and the person that normally receives them was out. He also told me that they had one delivered that was still showing in the rail yard in PA. I’d give them a call.

Ok, good news...kinda. My new baby is built and apparently sitting in that giant Bronco parking lot in Detroit, waiting for a truck to catch a ride to central illinois, but at least they told my dealer where it was hiding!!!

Bronco is still waiting in Winston-Salem NC to go to the dealer. Dealer said they have a some other Broncos there as well. I may or may not be tracking the dealer website to see if/when Ford populates my Bronco there.

Just had a call from my salesman, my Bronco is on the lot, going to pick it up tomorrow morning!
Oh, and tracker updated to final preparation! I do not understand Ford's cryptic shipping process, but must say patience paid off...

I bet you’ll get a call by Friday. Mine arrived in Winston on Friday and unloaded on Saturday. It was at Sanders Tuesday afternoon.
