That’s wild! Great news. Congrats!!
Thank you!
oh no! That’s too bad. But I totally understand. Did you find one on a lot or are you getting something else?
So happy for you! I went thru that too. Fortunately ford extended the Jeep incentive. My salesman was just as excited as I was. He’s already got it in service getting the hitch installed. I ordered a bunch of stuff too like mud flaps, bronco script badge, cargo protection, etc. Amazon has a lot of Mabett stuff on sale for prime days. I took a chance and ordered! Have fun and congrats!!

I had been trying to decide what to do as I was getting increasing disappointed mostly in the fact that I can see that it was built on May 2 then it was MIA. Since then virtually no idea of what was happening and when it would get released.

What pushed me to decide to abandon the factory order was Ford in Canada is currently offering and additional $4,000 rebate on Bronco delivers before July 24. I talked to my sales manager and he looking into whether I could get the rebate even though I may not take delivery while the promotion is around.

He called me and said that I probably wont get unless my unit suddenly shows up but he would talk to the Regional Ford rep about what could be done even though he told me it would probably be a waste of time. He was right.

That put me in a position where I get to pay $4,000 more for the joy of waiting some unknown amount of time. I found a fairy similar 2 door EG about 2 hours away that has almost everything I wanted minus the brush guard, wildtrak side graphic and tow package. The dealer is going to add the tow package for $850 and the guard and graphics can easily be replaced with better stuff from DV8 and Underground graphics.

I got what is a good deal for around her as it listed for $86,865 and he sold it to me for $77,787 including all fees except sales tax and the cost of the tow package. Tow package parts were not in stock so I will do that at my first service.

They are picking it up today from the other dealer and I should be able to pick it up late Friday or Saturday morning. I am looking forward to getting it as it has been a long road after being scheduled for production a few years ago and getting caught up in the hardtop constraint for almost a year to another 6 months of waiting this time.

After signed the paperwork the first thing I did was delete the link to the Ford tracker. Never want to see that page again.

Going to be a fun weekend as I have about $6,000 of parts on the work bench in the garage just waiting to be installed

Well, I finally got my Bronco! Took a fun trip today to the Upper Peninsula. We had a lot of wind and it handled amazing! Was a little concerned about driving a tall box across the bridge but no effect at all. Lots to learn about all the buttons but I’ll get there. 🙂

Love the color and looks like a great christening ride! I lived in St. Joseph MI for about 20 years. Loved Mackinac and UP.

Well, someone has to be last, I guess. BUT, my Bronco IS on a train moving this way. Should be in NW Indiana tomorrow, and Minnesota by next weekend. Hopefully all will be in working order and ready to go! I know this is nothing compared to those who waited years for delivery, but I can’t wait to take the top off and go for a drive.

Yeah, well, so did Bill Gates! And judging by that sweet garage, I'm beginning to wonder :)

Finally delivered... and happy I waited for my build! Top (partially off) day of delivery and a nice drive around the lakes with the kiddos!

So, after waiting at some lot near the factory, the modules finally popped around 7/10. So, can only assume an electronics part shortage of some sort. Got a train ride on 7/18 and arrived in Minnesota on 7/23 only to sit and wait at the depot for a couple weeks. Dealer finally had it delivered 8/2 ... but the hood was smashed in by the delivery truck ... sigh, of course. New hood installed and finally got to take her home yesterday.

Love it already!

I think this finally completes our known build week deliveries....

BoldNorth definitely gets the free steak dinner award for being the most patient! Feels good though knowing that your Bronco was made specifically just for you!

I would suggest that you garage it, get right with Mr Murphy’s Law, toss some salt over the shoulder, jinx jinx jinx, before driving it on public roads to make sure you’re all squared-up with the “if it can it will” gods after going through what you went through!! :)

I’m loving mine, most enjoyable car I’ve owned so far in my life. All the noises it makes, are all the right noises. Really loving it this week as we’ve got an early preview of fall weather (60/80) temps and sunshine. Soft top on, windows out, just enjoying the breeze!

@Nc211 My thoughts exactly! The Bronco was almost rear-ended in the test drive! I have an exo-shield and some UG PPF strips for leading edge of the hood and rocker panels to put on tonight.

I read your post about the TC not being full, along with the Driveline fluids thread. Is there an easy way to check levels without doing a full fluid change? I'm thinking about how to just top those off to ensure they're full until my first change. Like you, I haven't done my own maintenance in about 20 years, but enjoy doing it (something to do with raising kids and not having time for my own hobbies).
