Ford/Aftermarket no matter. Gimme setbacks like Bronco Sport.
From what I have read and seen in pictures, the Bronco Sport comes with carpet on the back of the rear seats. The rubber we have seen is part of the Ford cargo mat accessory. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Originally, I did as well. However, here is one of the pictures @Poohray took of her Bronco Sport. This shot shows carpeting under the mats, so I assume it's part of the cargo mat accessory. I have also read the same, but cannot locate that thread.
I'm not certain, but I thought it was part of the backs.

Yes, my Sport only has carpeted mats. They did put the rubberized matting on the back of the bench seat and trunk cargo area like you mentioned. I believe you are correct it is an add, when I ordered this vehicle my options were limited. I would have loved to add that and the tailgate, and a ton of extra goodies! The Cactus Grey color is awesome!
Looks like this was taken indoors under some bad factory lighting. The OP was taken outdoors, cloudy, but outdoors. I doubt many of us will be looking at these seats under this bad lighting. I think the OP on this thread is a better indication of what we will be seeing.Looks different in these pics ... is this the more realistic look we should expect? ... either way I like it!
My Jeep YJ had vinyl seats. We had two beagles at the time with it and their claws were never an issue. I live in the woods, so I left the dogs claws long so they could defend themselves if necessary.
They will be Ford. I expect them to be just like Subaru; carpet backs with factory rubber attached on top of the carpet.
