Personally I went with Hypercos 2” and the Foutz top hats (no lift). I did the no lift top hat for reliability and they’re easy to do with springs out.

I’d check with Foutz, but I think if you’re looking for lift they’d recommend top hats with lift OR springs, not both.

I can understand not combining collars and springs, b/c the coil-over shock is still the same thing and you add a lot of limitations and pressure to the situation.

I'm still learning here but....

Wouldn't installing the top hat with 1.5" of lift act as if it were a chassis lift? So it wouldn't affect the suspension travel or pressure aspect of the coil over? I will call Foutz for sure once they are back from holiday.
