Anyone come across a small bracket that would screw into the trunk floor to keep a sub box in place that doesn't interfere with the storage space? I marked up what I was thinking about, pardon my photoshop skills.

I don't know of one off the top of my head, but it wouldn't be hard to make one from a piece of MDF or plywood or something (painted or carpeted, whatever you want to do with it) - make it a bit larger than the sub, use a bit longer bolt than the factory (think those are m6 or m8, can't recall off hand, but a standard thread that isn't hard to find) to secure it to a bolts on the bracket, and then it extends out past the sub and you can just use some standard L brackets and small wood screws to secure that to that.

If you wanted to just use a the L brackets and go straight to the floor - that's an option too, you could. A piece of MDF or something would prevent you from putting holes in things that don't already have holes though.

Another option would be to get one of the rear molle panels, and then you could bolt the sub enclosure on the side to the molle panel. That's a bit more than what you are asking for though. There are many brands, this is an example:

The sub appears to be wrapped in a carpet-like material; if that's so is it also like that on the bottom? I'm assuming the intent is to keep the lateral forces from causing the sub to shift around. If that's a carpeted cargo area and a carpeted sub a few patches of double-sided velcro (hooks on both sides) might do the trick and be stupid simple and cheap. If the bottom is smooth then just some stick-on pieces with the hooks facing the bottom. Makes it easy to pick up and move the sub whenever you need to without tools.
