Wow, that’s an awesome comparison pic and definitely agree about the extended warranty, similar to the Bronco (IMO) too much technology that’s going to eventually fail.

It's for the care and protection of persons behind, and for me, a matter of balance and aesthetics as well. So: any chance you'll develop flaps for the rear?

Thanks! We have discussed the possibility of matching rear mudflaps a few times but never settled on a design. We have a lot of other items for various vehicles cooking right now and a crazy new flap design for Jeep that might carry over to the Bronco once we get it sorted out.

We've been thinking about removable mud flaps for a while and have a new design in prototype now that eliminates the need to remove and reinstall on the trail as terrain changes. They deploy with a kick out the door, and retract with a flick. The entire assembly also installs/removes easily with a single thumbscrew.

Heres a demo of how the BluMak3D On-Demand Mudflaps deploy and retract. Then a quick demo of how rugged they are, followed by an example of how they can put themselves away as ground clearance gets tricky.

Skipping around the thread, I don't know if this was mentioned, but I gather your mudflaps are quite flexible, a strong selling point. So you want to emphasize that. For my money, front-only mudflaps look wrong, unbalanced, and suggests disregard for motors following behind.

(My RokBlokz are rather flexible, too.. I don't remove them unless I expect to be climbing ledges and major rocks.)

You are probably in the minority. Rear mudflaps are for dually’s. Thousands of 4wd vehicles on the road and I’ve never caught a rock from following one without mudflaps. But I don’t follow too close either. You have a theory that’s not necessarily true. Any car that’s in front of you, if you can see the tire tread has potential to sling a pebble towards you. That would be 99.9% of vehicles on the road.

I've driven for a living all my life, and immodestly assert I have a very refined aesthetic regarding vehicles. And at age 77, I still have a Class A CDL and actually use it (occasionally).

And it's not just rocks and pebbles, it's slosh and spray, more of an issue here in the Northeast than in central Texas. AT tread cleats can be prolific. Keep on wheelin', Cowboy!

why not make rear mudflaps just for bronco enthusiasts who want things to look balanced? The front may be the most functional, but the back look more balanced with the front...

I found this thread and the flaps look super easy to put on and they look really nice. My only hesitation is not having rear ones...even if just for looks. Afterall, there are more than just a few mods that are just for looks vs. true functionality, and that's fine...I'm all for making our Broncos look more individualized.
