Not to troll at all but it was 2004 so like 17 years ago :) I remember it well because I was amped beyond belief that they were going to bring it back and go with the retro trend and stylings closer to the 1st gen Bronco. That and the dream of doors/top off unlike the FJ Cruiser that had been brought back. Then gas prices went through the roof, consumer tastes went to super efficient little cars (for a while) and the concept never went anywhere. My wife of currently 15 years reminds me often that even when we just started dating I was talking about Ford bringing back the Bronco and it was coming and that I was going to order my first ever new from the factory vehicle. Little did I know that my dream was actually going to be 17 years later (or 18 or 19 but whose counting the minutes).

Yep, got so sick of them teasing this version for so many years that I gave up on them ever building it & stopped following it. Found out a few days before the launch, then jumped all in and I'm still waiting for them to build them :sneaky:

I have 2 cars now, one for on road and one for off:) Cant wait to get the new one. Will be my first new car purchase as well.
