I was debating between BD and BL, but I recently found an excel sheet that was setup to display MSRP and the MSRP of options that calculated monthly payment with added information (downpayment, rate, etc.). I'm firmly in team Black Diamond now. 2DR, Mid, Tow and Roof rack are going to happen. I'm debating on 2.7L w/ AT and Modular hardtop in shadow black.

I adjusted the sheet to invoice pricing from different posts and I estimated what the invoice pricing would be on options from a Granger post from awhile ago. Just a rough estimate. After putting all this info in and working the numbers, it just makes more sense for my family's budget to go BD. Along with the idea that I won't ever really need the off-road capabilities of the Badlands. I wanted the 33's, but... I think we'll figure out a way to make them work on the Black Diamond down the road.
I didn't think the Black Diamond came with a hard top in shadow black..

Well, s.o.b. I just realized my assumption after your post. Darn... looks like aftermarket for this guy. LOL

edit: 4dr offers modular hardtop in body color. Why not for the 2dr? I'd consider that too.

I have started breaking down the photos on the Ford website for the Bronco (just to entertain myself and because I am an analyst by profession) and have found a few gaffes. The first two I found applied to the Base Model and I put those in the Base Model thread. So now I've decided to move on to the Black Diamond. So here we go...

This photo shows a Black Diamond trim, based on the HD bumper and black steelies, but the Bronco only has the BIC departure and breakover IF you opt for the Sasquatch package. So it wouldn't apply to this particular Bronco...

My breakdown continues

Those aren’t photos. It clearly says under every picture CGI and not representative of actual model. Don’t wast your time “breaking down” the images.

Depending on option prices......I want the Black Diamond....Squatch pkg....V6,Auto.....4 door....Both tops.....and if I can get it...and additional 2" lift........if options are to pricey....then it will be the Base with the same set ups....
Gonna be cheaper to go with the wildtrak at that point

I don’t see how you got to that math...assuming you have both tops as well on the Wildtrak and would be adding the additional two inch lift to both. Otherwise the Black Diamond is cheaper...and has the preferred (wash out) flooring.

I feel your pain. I least I am down to one trim and two colors...which has changed several times in a month +.

Nah, Manual for me with 33s. Im happy. Nothing flashy but do appreciate the boldness but not a "in your face" presence. Confident modesty rules the day for me.

I like the option of 33s with the black steelies
It would be a good option

Me too. Sounds like an after-delivery purchase so the question du jour for me is what do I do with five General Grabber 32s after I buy the BFG KO2s? Dont need a stack of off-size tires in the garage.

Have you checked with your dealer? Some of them will give you credit towards new rubber. Worth a try I guess!

Do you think the 33s will fit without any modifications to the rig?
