If I get BD without sas and lift it and put 35s later, do I need to re gear it?

The stock gears on the BD are 4.46:1. They'll turn those 35s rather easily. Not Squatch easy (4.70:1) but way better than the 3.73s most of the other options come with.If I get BD without sas and lift it and put 35s later, do I need to re gear it?

That's why I am getting the BD. It's the practical balance for the best of both on and off road use. I'd love the Badlands, but don't want to shell out the extra dough.
Well, I'm getting the 2 door, not the 4. But I was really just answering his question about gearing. My config- 2 dr, Mid, 2.7 auto comes out 6K less than a Badlands. I'd love everything that extra 6K would get me, but my budget can't make the leap.Have you thought about getting the badlands using this configuration based on survey pricing?
Four Door Badlands - $44590
Destination Charge - $1495
Standard Package - $0
Sasquatch - $2500
2.3 EcoBoost with Auto Transmission - $1600
Grey Hardtop - $700
Total: $50885 (Survey Pricing)

This is an interesting video shows how to calculate gear ratio based on tire size. The stock gears on the BD are 4.46:1. They'll turn those 35s rather easily. Not Squatch easy (4.70:1) but way better than the 3.73s most of the other options come with.

No Sasquatch?
Not for me because I’m not doing anything crazy just DD and maybe camping in normal off road trailsNo Sasquatch?

Here is the formula and my calculations based on BD w/o sasquatch (I guess if I need to keep 2.7 auto and 35s I have to get the sas)

Agree. If Sasquatch turns out to be available with MT I'll most likely go Base. Other stuff can be added aftermarket. Option I'm still trying to figure out is the Advance 4x4. Anyone have a clear understand of what that adds? Seems like transfer case redistributed power forward when needed....back and forth between 2WD (rear) and 4H. Anything more than that? Can see that being useful on road in bad weather (rain/snow) similar to my Subaru. Not clear on big advantage offroad. Would be in 4H or 4L during those times. So, recent speculation about squatch and the manual transmission has me rethinking the BD. Also seems the washout interior may not be quite what I was expecting.
I’m now wondering about base or BB with manual squatch and aux switches might give me everything I want for less.
That B&P can’t get here soon enough.
4A is prolly the biggest thing. More useful if you're dealing with PATCHY ice/snow vs 2 feet of itAnyone have a clear understand of what that adds?
My Jeep is 7 years old. I have 3.73 running on 35’s. I can still use overdrive on a 5 gear auto. You will be fine with what the Bronco comes with and you have more gears. If I get BD without sas and lift it and put 35s later, do I need to re gear it?
