I'm down for a Black Diamond. Seemed like a very reasonable upgrade cost for the options included.

Somewhat debating changing to Bad Lands or adding the Squatch package - depends on total pricing.

If the rubber floor was an option on the base model I'd probably go that plus the squatch package.

I reserved a black diamond. Will take a 2 door, 7 speed, and just add the mid package. I like the overland aesthetic of this model, and fear that the Sasquatch is just too much tire for daily use. I don't like the look of the 35s on the 2 door, looks more like the typical International Scout than a Bronco. It's a shame that the front locker isn't standard on this model, but I doubt I'll be going places where I'll need it. Don't care about the 4A mode for the auto transfer case, I can press the buttons when I need them.

I reserved a Black Diamond, 4DR, and I have to say that I think Ford has really done a great job on the revival of this iconic platform.
As of now I plan to go with 2.3l, 10 Speed (knees are too old for the 7 speed), Area 51 or Cactus Gray, Hardtop, Mid package and as much tech as I can jam in it. I want the 12 inch screen but not willing to pay the extra for the other stuff to get it. I think this trim level is a great sweet spot for the money. No Sasquatch for me! Oh, I almost forgot...what clinched the Black Diamond for me was the black steel wheels! It gives it that retro flavor that I really like and don't have to spend $$$$ aftermarket.

Is there a photo of the 8” screen anywhere?

Also, just to let y’all know as it's kind of buried, rear view camera is standard with the Black Diamond. Site also states that matching spare wheel and tire are included. I would guess that those who upgrade to Sasquatch will get that matching fifth wheel/tire to mount on the back of the Bronco.

Great pick up! Sounds like most of the mid package is already standard. No need to purchase it. More money to put towards squatch.

Yeah, I'm sticking with Standard + Sasquatch. Black Diamond is definitely the best bang for the buck, IMHO.

Something else that's freaking cool is that we get FordPass Connect standard with the 8-inch screen. Navigation for off-road trails ? Super excited to get back out in the dirt. It's been a long time for me.

Put in for a 4dr BD , will be getting the 2.7 and the Sasquatch option
It hits a balance of offroad and on...GF will put more miles on than I will so Area51 is her choice
Looks like it will pull the SxS down the highway fine and it will do the hard offloading
Can't wait to head out west

I'm hoping I can add some options to the BD that are in the Lux pkg, like the B&O stereo and the heated steering wheel. I was considering the WildTrak but I don't feel comfortable paying for options I don't necessarily want. The BD is going to have the off road capabilities I want and then some. It's the things that I would get more out of during my daily driving that are important, along with the price. I'll be adding the Mid pkg.

If Grabber or Velocity Blue are an option I'd consider it (something like my current Jeep - see avatar). The Cyber Orange is my fallback option. I may even go with that color if the other blues are available. Oh, I'm going with the 2 door.

if you are referring about the rear view camera as in the back up camera for when in reverse it is federally mandated I think since 2015 or 16...I think. So there has to be a back up/rearview camera. Unless there is some kind of exception for body on frame trucks.

The mix of std features on the black diamond gives me enough options to walk on the sasquatch package if need be. Really wish there was a way to go sasquatch and 33's or upsize the 32 to 33 as a baby sasquatch option.

Same here. More I think about it the only thing I truly NEED from squatch is the wheels and larger tires. Be much cheaper just upsizing to 33's from the factory or if they won't do it from factory doing so at the dealer/aftermarket.

Originally reserved a BD but then cancelled it and went to a badlands(both 2 door) but I'm sure I'm getting the black diamond cause the only difference in the two different models is the front sway bar disconnect. After thinking on it for a night said to myself its probably not worth the price jump so I will order a
2 door black diamond
2.7(cause I have that motor in my f150 and love it)
10 speed auto
Sasquatch package
mid interior package
the front dig option
tow package(hoping for a brake controller also)
Just can't decide on Cyber orange or the Carbonized grey

Velocity blue looks awsome on the f150 I’m confused on that color it’s not listed on the ford website but as someone else posted it’s listed on the ford spec sheet but as of now I’m leaning towards cyber orange bye the way I noticed cyber orange and rapid red are listed as premium co,it’s so we’re looking at a extra charge of at least 500 prob f my life lol. I ll prob go with cyber orange but I wa t to see more of the Area 51 to see what I truly looks like rapid red and cactus gray also look nice but if velocity blue is added I might consider that as well such a tuff choice. That orange just pops and it is an easy color to take car of I have an 07 grabber orange mustang gt and that color still looks amazing

Long time lurker... finally registered. I preordered a Black Diamond and chances are that's what I will keep. 4DR currently, but may switch to a 2DR. Will probably go hard top (hopefully white), bigger engine and Mid Package.

Black Diamond felt like the right balance of features - I want some capability and love the vinyl seats and easy clean rubber floor.

Main issue (maybe only issue) I have right now is I want the better headlights. But that doesn't seem to be an option. So I may switch.

I don’t see why ford would not let you upgrade the headlights im Picking and choosing wisely what I upgrade cyber orange is a premium color so already going to be in the whole extra for that I def want the apple car play which I will have to upgrade too I had the 4 door and canceled and then reserved the 2 just like the look of the 2 better plus the hard top is standered on that just got to decode if I’m going to pay extra for the painted match topor keep it the standered carbon .I will prob keep it black goes it goes good with the orange. Depending on cost and what you get with it I may upgrade to mid package or not do mid and do the Sasquatch if not overpriced

Even the base headlights are LED, they just don't have the circular light bar surround.

I've gone back and forth on those headlights, I actually like the retro look of the lower trims.

But this is one of the first things the aftermarket is going to fix. I'm pretty sure the grille and lights will have aftermarket options within a few months of release, and probably be a cheaper option than going up to badlands (which would be overkill)

Currently I have Outer Banks reserved, but may drop it down to black diamond because the rubberized floor and vinyl seats will be a lot nicer for my use, and i don't really care for the cosmetic stuff on OB. I'm just curious what the "improved gauge cluster" on the Outer Banks looks like.
