As more and more of us get build dates, I’m expecting to see take-off Badlnds and Sasquatch coil overs in the B6G marketplace.
Everything I’ve read here leads me to believe one can swap stock Hitachi coil overs for Bilstein (all other suspensions parts being same/comparable). Is that correct?
Are all 4 door suspensions “plug-and-ply” compatible? I get that you wouldn’t want to put a 2 door suspension on a 4 door, or vice versa. But would there be any issue with putting 4d 2.7L non-SAS Badlands coil overs on a 4d 2.3L Big Bend or Base, for example? Or 4d 2.3L SAS OBX coil overs on a 4d 2.7L non-SAS Black Diamond?
How careful do people need to be when mixing and matching suspension parts?
I’d love to put DL take-offs on my 4d Base 2.3L, but suspect most BL take-offs will be from a 2.7L configuration. Trying to determine if this is really a good idea or if I should just do a one inch spacer lift and be done with it.
The dampening at the end of the travel range on the Bilstein suspension is just beautiful engineering, and I want in if it’s doable.
