I've had a 50' long roll of 3" wide paint protection film for almost a decade now. I just lay a strip down in the door sill, not caring too much about bubbles and if it takes a beating, pull it up and lay another strip down. Cut to fit.

Here's a link, but it's only 60" instead of 50'. The uncut rolls are always cheap and easy to get at the tint shops.

Just slapped this on this AM. Thanks for the heads up on this. With kids, this was a quick, easy must-have for me.

I used deck tape (goes on skate boards) from the time my kiddos were little for the protection and added traction for short legs. I still use it on rounded bumper edges and such so If I need to work in the engine bay I have the traction, the bumper has the protection . It's not for everyone. I custom cut my stuff tho and I get a ton of comments. Most often "where did you find this kit" lol
I know this is old but I just got my Bronco and I was wondering about this. I’ve got a roll of industrial non-skid hazard tape and was wondering if it would scratch up the bottom of the door when I close it. Did you have this issue at all with the grip tape?

Honestly the @StickerFab Carbon sill protectors have held up so well. The only thing that I’d say is they didn’t stand up to cleats in my wading boots. But, for sub $15 for 4 door it’s definitely the best option. I had fhem in my 2021 for 4 years and they looked like new otherwise. Put them in our Ranger too. I’m not one for fake carbon - but, they’re strong as hell, apply in seconds AND last.

I installed Tufskinz sill protectors. I'm impressed. Make sure you spray water with a few drops of detergent when installing them.

For the money - Sticker Fab - looks pretty damn good. Without seeing real life photos of the Ford versions - I wasn't dropping $100+ on them.

I have the Carbon ones on Iconic Silver and it looks sharp. I was afraid it would look cheap.

I bought these (or identical ones) over 4 years and 50k ago and they still look 100% brand new. Maybe I don't step on them, maybe they last. Either way it's good.

Those are the ones! If you want low profile and inexpensive - that’s the move. I was looking at WeatherTech’s version for my 2025 and I just couldn’t pull the trigger. Part of me thinks something bulky and rubber will get in the way. Or that my boots will get caught on them more. The film is just there, does what it’s supposed to and your shoes just slide off of it.
