Just picked up a '25 Big Bend with no add-ons with the exception of hard tops and vinyl seats. I'm wanting to add rgbw halos and rock lights, but I don't want to replace the entire headlight. I see Oracle makes a kit to add halos with some minor disassembly of the lamp. Ultimately, here's what I'd like to achieve:

- Physical switches for the halo / rock lights (Maybe Trigger 4 system?)
- Light controller with memory so when the physical switch is turned on, it goes back to the last color that it was on

Ultimately, I just don't want to have to fiddle with a phone to turn the lights on and off. This is a graduation gift and I'd rather not have to worry about someone having to look at their phone to turn things on and off. Looking for a fairly cost effective, but quality route here. Bonus points if the company has a military discount! Here's what I came up with in my initial research:

Aux Switch: Trigger 4
Halo: Oracle ColorSHIFT for Base headlights w/ BC2 Controller
Rock: Oracle ColorSHIFT

Is that all I need? Is this overkill?

If you think cutting open or oven baking your hermetically sealed, $1k+ per side to replace headlights is "minor disassembly" then you probably shouldn't be considering this as an option for what amounts to an asthetics change - but hey your money, your Bronco.

Fair point. Suppose I could just replace the entire assembly. Would still be in a similar boat of wanting to not have to use an app to control the lights each time I wanted them to come on though.

Bringing in @4x4TruckLEDs.com as they're the go-to Lighting experts. Adam may have a suggestion that could help?

I'd recommend if you want the RGB headlights go with new headlights. Not only do you get the RGB you want BUT you get an upgraded headlight. The Morimoto is what I'd go with.

https://www.4x4truckleds.com/morimoto-xrgb-led-headlights-for-2021-ford-bronco/

They are the only RGB headlight i'd trust to be honest. I've seen too many issues with other products. Morimoto had issues early on with the XRGB but I think they've fixed all that now.

As for rock lights, go with the Diode Dynamics. We have complete kits available. You'll want to add-on the bluetooth controller so you can change the color but it'll remember your last color. SO you can turn them on and off from your upfitter and change the colors from your phone:

https://www.4x4truckleds.com/led-auxiliary-lights/diode-dynamics/rock-lights/

If you are doing them in the wheel wells you don't need any additional mounting brackets. We find that just removing your fender flare and removing the screws that hold the felt liner up allows you to pull it down a bit and get a washer/bolt through that to hold the rock light in the wheel well. Not too difficult of an install. We can knock a 4 pack out in 2 hours at our shop.

I think the Trigger Controller is a great option. Make sure to check out the Bronco combo kit as it will have a Bronco specific mounting option. And right now we are running 15% off on the combo kit; code: TRIGGER15 https://www.oraclelights.com/collec...r-controller-4plus-ford-bronco-2021-combo-kit

I would recommend looking at the Oculus ColorShift BI-LED headlights vs a holo. They are a full unit swap and are much easier to install. https://www.oraclelights.com/produc...led-projector-headlights-for-2021-ford-bronco

ColorShift Rick lights are a great option as well. https://www.oraclelights.com/produc...w-underbody-wheel-well-rock-light-kit-4-pcs-o

We do always offer an exclusive forum discount or you can use a military discount.

Here is our Bronco lit up on the trails in Moab!!
