This was my bane. It's an absolute value, however I don't want the driving aids sensors or anything I don't need by government mandate. These systems detract from diving and attention that should be the road. NTSB is calling it"detached driving" it call it reckless. Drive the car or get off the road. Your tesla cannot decide between hitting the herd of deer or being crushed by the semi truck up your bumper when you brake harder than the truck can. A human can.I think the mid package is just a ridiculously good value for everything that you get. Most people aren't going to turn that down, but if there's nothing in there you want no sense in spending the money. It will definitely be a rarity.
Also this stuff breaks way more often and costs more to fix.
