You’re conflating width with height...

A 315 width tire will fit on the BL assuming you have the correct offset wheel. A 315 width tire on the standard +55mm wheel will not fit and hit the upper control arm... you need the Sasquatch wheels or similar +30mm offset.

Yes, 315 tires are usually always considered a 35” class tire, but we need to be careful about specifics if people are already looking to swap things out.

$0.02
35” tires is larger then 315 tires! That’s all I meant not the metric to standard sizing. You read me wrong of course you need different offset wheels

Wow You know a lot about a vehicle that no one has yet, look at them both side by side there is hardly no difference only what bigger wheels and tires can make!, and I didn’t say use the factory wheel, you obviously need a different offset, I have the fifteen52 wheels ordered with 35” nittos, so we shall see, I will post pictures when I receive the bronco this summer, no need to get saucy to a compete stranger either, grow and grow some manners.
Either we don’t have any info, and we shouldn’t be assuring other forum members that something will fit (when we aren’t sure if it will)...

....or we do have some info and we should be warning forum members that something might not fit (when we aren’t sure if it will)...

This is not how tire sizing works.

Riddle me this: How tall is a 315/85r17?

I implore you to look at the actual size of a 35x tire. Pretty typical for the true dia to be 34.5"

I assume he's using 315 in reference to the stock tire options, not all 315 width tire options on the market. I hope anyways.

You made several false statements and claimed them as facts, and that would be misleading to someone making a decision. Sorry you took offense, but don’t make stuff up when you don’t know and no one will have to correct your false statements.

Your basing your opinions on the overland concept that’s 35” MT Mud-terrain tires! Which has big lugs! The 315 Goodyear’s M/T maximum traction are exactly what they are and that’s smaller then the 35” mud terrains! 315 is the width, and that is 12.4” which is smaller then the 35x12.5 tires!

Guys.

The point is that if you were specifically talking about the 315s that are provided on the Sas package, you need to specify that. You can’t assume that others on the forum know what you’re thinking or intending to refer to.

To simply state that 315’s will fit the Badlands because 35” tires are taller, without context or clarification, isnt fair to the new forum members who want to know what they will be safe buying and mounting, especially considering that many people are going to be modifying their Bronco away from what was originally available.

We owe it to people to be clear and accurate in our discussions.

I emailed fifteen52 myself and they told me YES there wheels will fit a badlands with 35” tires, so there!
Yes, because they are the correct bolt pattern and a 0 offset, which places them further away from the upper control arm than the +30 offset of the Sas wheels... you didn’t need to email Fifteen52, we could have told you that here. No one is arguing that point. (Did fifteen52 explain how their 0 offset also creates a wider arc while turning and can cause new interference with a wider diameter tire?)

What you did say was that 315s would fit the BL no problem... but didn’t specify that to do this would require at least a +33mm offset (4wp showed this works) or lower. The result is some forum member, looking to us for guidance, may read your comment to mean they can put 315s on their stock or optional +55mm offset wheel... which they cannot.

This is why specificity is important. You were connecting thoughts in your mind that weren’t being conveyed to the forum, and as a result, could be interpreted in a way you didn’t intend.

Read my comment again then, don’t hate! Or troll! Your again comparing a mud terrain 35” tire compared to an 35” All terrain tire both have different lugs, you can get a 315 Nitto ridge grappler but it is smaller then a 35” ridge grappler, It’s a little bit shorter and not as wide. It would be a 34.5x 12.00 x 17 that sir is facts!
