Badlands or Wildtrak?

When did you buy your Badlands? Is it a 2023? My 2022 had a steel rear bumper.

Nevermind, I thought you meant an all steel bumper. Mine is steel with a plastic top.

Yeah, my 2021 also has a rear steel bumper. The deck on the top of the bumper is plastic (the spot you put your beer while you're working in the garage), but the actual bumper itself is indeed steel.

Badlands with Sasquatch seems to be the best choice and best all around in my opinion.

Extreme off roader and the only version with front sway bar disconnect.

Easy to add sport mode with FORScan.

Why does the wildtrack seem to be more desirable and valuable?

Silver bead lock rings are more appealing to me. The black ones from the wildtrack almost seem to cheapen things and make it look like it’s a lower model.

Wildtrak has the HOSS suspension system.

I can retrofit HOSS 3.0 and FORScan it to work with my badlands, it's harder to add a stick to your wildtrack

I love my 7MT Badlands, HOSS 2.0 or 3.0 who cares? It rides well and stirring the gears is just glorious, if you want luxury get a Benz. I am getting close to 5k miles and with fresh oil, 93 octane, and nice spring weather this thing is happy to boogie

I did the bronco off roadeo in moab this weekend and I really wish i had gotten the badlands. The sway bar disconnect make the biggest difference when wheeling.

Yes that's one of the features that sold me on it when doing the off-roadeo last year.

'23 WT Owner here. Love the 2.7/10spAuto. Love the SAS. Glad I got the HOSS 3.0. Offroaded quite a bit now. In the rocks a lot. No issues with sway bar, but comfortable adding manual disconnect if I feel the need.

Obviously it's use case and preference. The steel armor and rear bumper were considerations for me. I also like the color trim of the Badlands better. The biggest factors though was the MGV interior with wash-out floor drains (I have large furry pups), and the sway bar disconnect. If you do a lot of wheeling (short of living in the desert/dunes) and know what you're doing, it's pretty awesome! The HOSS did make me consider the WT though. The other factors just trumped it for me.
