So as the title states, I seem to have a wheel bearing going bad up front after just under 13k miles on it. Made a 500 mile round trip to Florida over the last 2 days and on the last hour back I started to hear a deep droning noise. At first I thought it was my tires but it was too deep to be that so I knew something was wrong. Took it to my trusty local shop I always go to for mods and they told me it’s the beginning signs of a bad wheel bearing. Didn’t bother to take it to the dealer because I have aftermarket wheels and tires (same size as Sas) but my vehicle is a non-sas so I assumed they’d just say “too bad so sad” even though the part has nothing to do with Sasquatch and is the same regardless. Anybody else had a bad wheel bearing this early on? @fordmotorcompany I’d love some input from y’all. Only had it for just over a year. Fortunately this is only a couple hundred $ to get fixed so my taste in the Bronco hasn’t been soured.

Take it to the dealer anyhow. Worst they can do is say no. Better yet, borrow some Squatch or stock wheels from a Bronco buddy and then take it to the dealer.

I’ve got an off-road excursion Saturday so I’m really not trying to wait on them. Plus if they just pull my vin they’d see it’s not Sas so idk if that would work 😆

If your dealer balks at that, terrible dealer. If you had crazy back spacing, like -55 or something, then maybe I could see them denying warranty. I would take to dealer and see. Or just buy the wheel bearing and do it yourself, not that hard.

For anyone curious about an update or if they end up in the same situation as me, my front passenger bearing started going bad a week after the driver side got fixed so I took it to dealer this time since I wasn’t in a rush for repairs and it is covered under warranty. Thankfully 🙌
