Any change on this? I've been experiencing something similar where it seems any activation of camera feed (backup or 360) stutters my android auto connection and causes the annoying (painful?) loud audio static blip until it gets back to normal. It seems to have become increasingly frequent, though it's hard to say for sure.
Haven't noticed much improvement on back up camera. It still freezes for a few seconds (especially while using android auto). I'm also getting the painful buzz sound from speakers.

I am also in this boat. Backup camera goes black and I get the buzz sound from the speakers. Is this an Android Auto only thing??

Backup camera glitches on its own occasionally. Definitely more frequently with AA in use.

Note: I have 4.2.4 updated on 10/13.

Since the update, I get audio cut outs (almost like the old days when the data stream couldn't keep up to the bitrate) when I first start my vehicle (maybe half a second intermittently for the first 10 or 15 seconds) after that it works fine.

No issues with backup camera that I've noticed.

8" screen, if that matters
