My Jeep is at a body shop that is right next to Chapman Ford Scottsdale. I need to get trade data for a diminished value claim and I’m going to try and talk to their Bronco specialist and see what type of deal they might have. I’ve never bought a car from them but their service department has always been cool. I’ve mulled over going on a tour and visiting a bunch of dealerships to try and leverage a group but but I just don’t think any of our local dealerships are willing to wheel and deal nearly as much as Granger is.

Not necessarily a problem, more like an obstacle... ;) To be overcome....(y)

I have driven from Phoenix to home and that is a 2 driver epic trip...I only had 36 hours to do it in...

Do not want to do that again!...

I want to see the scenery next time and take my time...

I am also interested and have mine at Sanderson Ford. Was planning on switching to Granger once the B&P gave us final numbers.

I agree with you on the distance. I'm contemplating Granger as well, but shipping charges would wipe out the savings they would offer under X-plan price. I currently have my reservation with Chapman and hope they honor the X-plan prices.

I have received an e-mail and follow up phone call from Erik their internet sales manager so I found that very promising. I'm planning to call him this week to ask specific questions. I do find value in a dealer who is willing to make the purchase process less of a hassle and willing to negotiate items I do not want to include.

Is there anyway you can get it in writing from them ? Like if you send them an email and say something like based on out verbals this is my understanding of the FINAL cost of the Bronco! will you win my business by confirming it? ..... or something to that effect, cuz i can't get anything out of them!! and please mention that you are asking on behalf of a group of 20+

Well just got back from Chapman Ford Scottsdale. I talked with one of their salesmen and also a manager I believe. They didn’t believe the deal Granger had until I showed it to them, and they said they actually stopped accepting Bronco reservations? (Not sure that’s even possible but whatever.) I just told them we wanted transparency and a fair deal, as close to granger as we can get or at least know what the best they can offer is. Told them the benefits of literally zero time on the lot plus stock orders. They are going to speak with upper management and see what they can do.

I told them to create an account here as well, the manager sounded interested so we’ll see! Not getting my hopes up too terribly.

they gave me very general answers and once i started asking specifics (ie spell it out for me) they started to ignore me .... got as far as i did, lets see what more they will say

Just for anyone who is not part of our group deal conversations... I just heard from Oracle Ford and they are requiring a $2,500 non-refundable deposit.

Just FYI... CYA ?

We require a $2500, non -refundable order fee before we convert the reservation to an actual order. ( This helps offset our cost of stocking if an order does not deliver. ) The entire $2500 will be applied to the purchase price at time of delivery or refunded if you want to finance with no money down.
