After seeing this online and getting some great tips on installation from here on the forum, I decided to order one. It uses wire taps to slice into the wiring harness for the headlights. I got to my harness by pulling back the inner fender liner. I routed the wiring harness through the hood for a cleaner installation.

Still very pleased. Wiring wasn’t too hard. Using those wire splicers into my head lamp harness made me nervous, but so far, so good.
One issue is that the LED bar is very stiff and will tend to lift up the 3M tape at either end. I corrected this by using small self taping screws at both ends to hold the plastic end caps in place.

How well does this work as a hood deflector? I like the light bar but if it doesn’t stop the hoard of bugs splattering on my windshield I’d be quite disappointed
