So I don't buy cars a lot, and when I have I've always bought a 'safe' car. Not as in safety, but as in, it fit my needs at the time. The Bronco will be the first car I feel I'm buying that is 'mine', as in a car I really wanted vs practical. Know what I mean? Hell, even the Tahoe I've always wanted forever, and bought in 2018, really isn't mine, it's my wifes... haha.

Anyway, with that said, it got me thinking... as I keep looking at these gorgeous pics that keep surfacing, can I ask the dealer to not put one of their stickers on the back? When do you think I would request that? Probably when ordering right? to make sure they don't slap it on as soon as the car arrives? I've never really cared before, because as I stated, it was just a car. Not MY car. But this time around, I'd don't want some ugly, crooked dealer sticker taking up real estate next to that bucking bronco!

i've had a couple of dealers remove their signage at delivery on vehicles that i've ordered.
at time of order, i'm clear that i don't want any signage and made them note that on the ordering documents.

I just use a blow dryer and some detail spray to remove it
dental floss also helps on the bigger ones but i prefer to have the dealer clean up the mess.

If you tell the dealer you don't want any branding they won't put it on. You may want to remind them when your Bronco is actually delivered to the dealership.

They come off really easy... Or you just ask them to take it off.

This must be a regional thing. Here in CA, I've never had a dealer try to put a dealer sticker on a new car. Plus every dealer sticker I've ever seen is from another state.

Noway in hell I'd let a dealer put a sticker on my new car that advertises their dealership. The license plate frame is bad enough.

I don't think it is an unreasonable request. For the ones I took that were still in-transit or wrapped in plastic I just asked them to not put their stickers on it (or license plate frame) and they complied as they wanted my $$ more than advertising

As others have said, even if it is already there - it is really easy (especially when 'fresh') to remove. I do the hair dryer and then a plastic razer method (followed by a detailing spray in the area and goo gone ready if needed).

Since it's an ordered vehicle just tell your dealer, at time of order, you don't want it applied. When you are buying off the lot they've already slapped it on as part of their SOP but that early in the vehicle's life (and the paint's) it's not at all hard to remove.

Heh. I didn't know it was not a thing.

But thanks everyone. Sounds like an easy enough request.

When I ordered my Jeep, I stipulated no dealership signage. I probably mentioned it to my salesman during every contact. And when I took delivery - amazingly no dealer stickers. I'm sure they can be removed easily enough - but why go through the hassle when you can prevent it from the start.
