Could the auto stop start feature cause break pressure loss. I was sitting on an inclined drive way trying to get out on a main road and lost break pressure for a moment. I was able to stop but had to go to the floor with the break pedal. The pressure returned to normal and hasn't happened since. Been driving it for a few days afterwards and no issues.

I was sitting on an inclined driveway trying to get out on a main road. The auto stop/start had shut off the engine, after which I noticed I lost brake pressure for a moment.
I'm assuming you missed stating that?

How hard were you pushing down on the pedal? How long were you waiting? I would ask the dealer to take a look personally because anything weird with brakes needs the dealer take a look. I can see lots of opportunities for user error here. But you don't want to guess. Better let the dealer say I don't see anything wrong, or at least give them a chance to find something wrong.

Yes I left that out of my post. I am taking it in to the dealership tomorrow. I was just wanting to know if the engine shutting of could cause that to happen.

On the 2.3 - maybe, since that’s a vacuum system - it shouldn’t though unless you have a leaking vacuum line someplace. The 2.7 is electric and shouldn’t be affected but …
