That’s the good, yet the bad! It’s so much quieter, you now hear all the other squeaks and rattles! 😝

I have noticed a very very minor whistle at high speeds, but haven’t been able to narrow it down. I’ve sprayed water in every crevice of that top and it’s sealed tight. The only thing I can think of is it’s coming from the air flowing over the front roof panel lip, which overlaps the rear roof panel. It’s hard to confirm though. I even sprayed water directly under that lip and no leaks though!
Whistles don't have to come from air leaks. They can be caused by vortexes created by uneven air flow over the outside of the body. Good luck finding yours!

Exactly why I mentioned that front panel lip and L-tracks! 😁There’s a few millimeter gap where it over hangs the 2nd panel, and such a vortex could form, as the seal is up near the front of the lip.

The "shop" in Oregon was basically a marine warehouse for their previous life with storage for the dismounted Bronco prototype.
Hello there! can you elaborate on what you saw in the "shop"?

What I read here suggests there is no capacity to manufacture or produce the topper, as it was only a storage unit.

Did you see no tools or 'production' capacity there? TIA

Any more 2 door owners with this top out there? I've been waiting to see more pics to see what the top looks like on other color Broncos.

I'd like to pull the trigger on one of these tops especially with the new payment plan they are offering.

What are the roof rack options? Is it only a rack from AD, or would I be able to use an aftermarket rack? Are the roof panels removable with the roof rack on?

TrailRax is making a bracket for the armadillo too but I can’t tell if it’s enough room to remove the roof panels. The AD one or the Gobi are probably your options to remove the panels. For Gobi I think you’d just need the quick release option if I remember correctly.

@ElDuderino @Pseudoko Per last year's SEMA Gobi rack build for Blanco Bronco Adventures on 4 door Bronco, no quick release needed to take off panels, I'd assume same for 2 door. I'll be speaking to Gobi soon regarding rack adaptation to Armadillo tops, will post details on this thread ;)

Six weeks? No problem! | The Blanco Bronco 2024 SEMA Build

I'm Gobi all the way given their track record and solid build, plus designed more for over landing versatility ie more mounting points, including along window frame, the loading ladders, etc.

I’m considering the TrailRax since I will have enough clearance still to get in the garage but we’ll see. TBH I don’t really need it with the exception of a couple of camping trips where an awning would be nice .

anyone know why they didnt do a wiper/fluid spray for the rear window?
I am Personally glad they didn't, but could assure the cost of parts the design aspect to have one mounted and most that are purchasing are soft top owners so they don't have that ran back there anyhow. Than would come down to how to do any exterior moly panes if you had a rear wiper and just a long list of things that would have to be addressed.

@Pseudoko Yeah Gobi's taller, I have to mindful when I use parking garages LOL I'm gonna be loading that rack up, so mounting rack to body vs hardtop only is key for my needs, plus 4x side rack points etc.

It will be interesting to see how the market adapts to these bad ass Armadillo tops, and what products will be coming out in the future.

I'm going from soft to Armadillo top, and all the wire & plumbing is back there for the wiper/washer. I'll rig something up once the top is received, I'm not sure what though. On early Broncos I would add a rear washer assembly off a Cherokee or something.

Depending on what top you get, I have the slant back, coming from a soft top, and have never needed a wiper out back. I also have the MOLLE on top, zero issues.

I guess there is a way to hook a wiper to it, though I just haven't had the need.

@TheLawnDart HOLY GUACAMOLE! (or should I say guaca-molle?) Armadillo nailed the open air look, its SO close to top fully off look, what a GREAT idea to demo this. Thanks you SO much for video, gonna try this for sure some day. 👏
