just before i ordered last month, i asked armadillo about lead times, they said current lead times are closer to 16 weeks lol. Anyone else get that memo?
I ordered November 1st and my order didn’t go into production
from start to finish that sounds about right. That’s from the point you ordered and not when they actually start on your production batch. Fabian and Sam are good about communicating.
I would say to expect longer than that currently.
I ordered mine 10/1/24.
Got updated on 1/13/25 that it was being welded and blended.
Updated 3/20/25 being blended and sealed
Latest update was 5/1/25 that it was in powder coat.
So I’m at 31 weeks from my order date. And expecting another 4-6 for assembly to finish and then according to another, possibly up to 5 weeks for shipping. But I wouldn’t count that of course if you’re going to pick up.
Their website says 12-16 weeks once your batch start for completion. Assuming they start mine at the beginning of the year based on the welding update, I’m at 18 weeks so far.
However, I do know this is an amazing product and some amazing guys behind the company. I’m incredibly excited to receive mine when I do. The wait will be worth it switching from a soft top no doubt.

Yeah mine went into production in November and was complete in early Feb. With the holidays I deducted about 2 weeks for the holidays since you know it’d be slow around that time for production. Based on that I figured about 10ish weeks for fab for mine. I just couldn’t get out there until March for the installation. My order date is not applicable because it was during the preorder period still.

Regardless, well worth the wait and you guys will definitely enjoy the top over the soft top (which is what I had).

Read post #771. I would say 16 weeks after order is still optimistic. 20 weeks is probably more realistic.

My order was March 3rd and got first notification of order started into cutting on April 8th. I Believe I also just made it in on the that batch they were running as well so didn't have to wait for a next full order batch. No new updates to date to speak of as of currently.

One thing that was driving me nuts was that the passenger seat rattle was so loud and seemed like it was echoing off the hard top… I thought it was the armadillo top at first until I shoved a piece of card board in the passenger seat track 😂

That’s the good, yet the bad! It’s so much quieter, you now hear all the other squeaks and rattles! 😝

I have noticed a very very minor whistle at high speeds, but haven’t been able to narrow it down. I’ve sprayed water in every crevice of that top and it’s sealed tight. The only thing I can think of is it’s coming from the air flowing over the front roof panel lip, which overlaps the rear roof panel. It’s hard to confirm though. I even sprayed water directly under that lip and no leaks though!

Or maybe it’s coming from my L-tracks on the roof!

Whistles don't have to come from air leaks. They can be caused by vortexes created by uneven air flow over the outside of the body. Good luck finding yours!

Exactly why I mentioned that front panel lip and L-tracks! 😁There’s a few millimeter gap where it over hangs the 2nd panel, and such a vortex could form, as the seal is up near the front of the lip.

The "shop" in Oregon was basically a marine warehouse for their previous life with storage for the dismounted Bronco prototype.
Hello there! can you elaborate on what you saw in the "shop"?

What I read here suggests there is no capacity to manufacture or produce the topper, as it was only a storage unit.

Did you see no tools or 'production' capacity there? TIA

Any more 2 door owners with this top out there? I've been waiting to see more pics to see what the top looks like on other color Broncos.

I'd like to pull the trigger on one of these tops especially with the new payment plan they are offering.

What are the roof rack options? Is it only a rack from AD, or would I be able to use an aftermarket rack? Are the roof panels removable with the roof rack on?
