Armadillo Designs Aluminum Hardtop

So BB did a custom gloss white paint job on his top. He purchased the raw aluminum. As it has been said, the Raw Aluminum allows you to paint the top any colour you want.

I honestly thought the Raw Aluminum looked better but to each their own. Have to say the paint job came out nice paint-wise.

Looking at the Armadillo web site, I'm still a bit unclear, what is the raised panel on the top of the hardtop? Is it a removable targa-like panel that opens up to the interior?

It’s 2 removable pieces for open air, which they specifically redesigned from the original 1 piece panel. This was so they could be taken off and stored in the rear cargo area, post much feedback. The side gull windows and rear hatch can also come off, leaving the skeletal top in place for full open air feel. It’s meant to be a semi-permanent top, with the removable modular panels.

Also, that is the first design where now it has been remade, where the front has a valance like appearance and the back has been rounded and has separate panels.

Update, well actually it's Tyler's build, AKA BroncBuster he has his BroncNuster 2.0 completed, but what I am looking at is the Armadillo hard top, and the installation and top setup. Though he has a custom setup, it's how it's done and how it will be for everyone.

This Hard Top looks awesome... although this one is custom painted.. Im hoping the powder coated version can look just as amazing.

Should know soon, though I guess I am not a stock Bronco, and may fall into the highly modified Bronco realm. Though I do not look anything close to Tyler's Bronco.

Same here, just waiting to see some sort of prototype on the square back before I place an order. I’m on the Turn list just in case though!

Looks a fitting from the adjustments. Also interesting how this will be setup. I am also surprised by how big the opening will be without the panels.

Love it!! I switched to a slant back as much as I despised them when I first saw jeeps with them. But armadillo looks amazing so I went from square back to slant back. When they debut the square back I may change my mind again. I’m ready for it!
