Got a couple responses from Tucker today. Not much info from him. He either doesn’t know the allocation numbers, or doesn’t want to say. Nothing new on MSRP. Didn’t know anything more about the new accessories list except what was already on here. He will email me later about a time to come in next week to place the order.

We shall see. I’m not feeling forced to buy anything.

Made my reservation with Granger on October 1st to take advantage of the $2K below invoice offer. Looking at a 4 door Wildtrak in A51 with shadow black top. We'll see what changes come around for MY'22.

My first reservation was with McLarty Daniel (“MD”) on 7/20/20, so I am likely going to be outside of the MY21 allocation unless the final order take rate turns out to be 30%-40% (well below Ford’s expectations).

I made a 2nd reservation with Granger on 10/31/20 to capture the $2,000-below-invoice offer and hedge my bets for a likely MY22 delivery.

MD reached out to me by email this morning with details about the order process. Most of the info matched what is available here on the forum, so there was nothing really surprising about the process itself, but the email did state that there would be NO additional deposit for pre-orders “at this time“ and NO additional mark-up beyond MSRP.

MD’s MSRP pricing is still about $3,000 to $4,000 higher than the two Granger below-invoice deals, so a fly-and-drive road trip to/from Iowa is still financially attractive.

::EDIT:: Maybe $4,000-$5,000 price difference including factory installed packages and dealer installed options.

I too received an email from MD this morning. But, I received one yesterday from Pam Bonnell (Internet Sales Director for MD by her signature) basically saying the same thing, but to reply with a date and time to schdule an appointment to convert to order. Her email had a "Commonly Asked Questions" at the bottom saying they would be requiring a $500 deposit.

COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

What is the final sale price for my Bronco? We are selling all Broncos at MSRP.

Will X-Plan pricing be available for Bronco? No, Ford Motor Company is not extending X-Plan pricing on Bronco at this time.

Will I be required to put down an additional deposit at time of converting my reservation to an order? We are requiring an additional $500 deposit. If the vehicle comes in and you are not 100% satisfied, we will refund all deposits.

When will my Bronco be delivered? Once order banks have finalized for this initial allocation, Ford Motor Company will send communication sometime in May for an estimated delivery date. Customer deliveries will begin summer 2021 and continue into the 2022 calendar year.

Anyone have other dealers in AR/OK/MO that are offering below MSRP negotiations? I assume Granger is still offering

::Edit:: I know the Granger deal was only October orderings. Long time lurker, decided to create an account as deciding where to convert to order. I have used MD for vehicle purchases in the past, and don't mind dealing with them. Just was put off that they might not be negotiating below MSRP.

Just for clarity, my dealer is McLarty Daniel Ford Lincoln on South Walton Boulevard in Bentonville (www.bentonvilleford.com), and my email, titled "MD Ford Bronco", was sent by Jason Hooe, General Manager. The text is copied/pasted below.

Good morning and congratulations!

Thank you for choosing McLarty Daniel Ford as your dealer for your new Bronco. We have just received confirmation from Ford that the order banks are now open to finalize your order! We are excited to expedite the next step of your buying experience. Please review the following link to build and price your new Bronco, as we will need those details in order to move to the next step in the process:

Step One: Build Out Your Final Bronco Configuration
Please visit https://shop.ford.com/configure/bronco/model/customize/base and build your Bronco out exactly how you want it. Please save your customized link, or preferably download the final details in a .pdf format to save time after your Bronco is perfect.

Step Two: Finalize Your Preferences
My team or I will make a personal contact to set up an appointment to finalize your reservation. Please respond to this email indicating your contact preference and if you would prefer to finalize your reservation over the phone or in person. We will need the details of the configuration that you built in step one to expedite this step.

NOTE: As a benefit to our customers, we have chosen to NOT charge an additional deposit for Bronco pre-orders at this time. Additionally, as we have had inquiries, please be assured that we will not be marking up your pre-order Bronco beyond MSRP. We are so very grateful for our community for making us the #1 Ford Store in Arkansas for the third straight year, and our priority will always be your satisfaction as a customer and a neighbor.

Step Three: Confirmation of Build
Your reservation is maintained to the next step of the process so long as we complete the above steps no later than March 1st, 2021. At that point you should receive confirmation from Ford that your build has been accepted and that your Bronco is then in the next step to be built!

What Comes Next
My team and I will keep you apprised of all build and delivery timeline information as we receive updates from Ford. We are available to you throughout this process if you have questions — please don’t hesitate to reach out.

If you have any questions with any of these items, please do not hesitate to call me at 479-271-1976. In the advent that I am with a customer and cannot answer, please leave me a voicemail and I will return your call as soon as possible.

Thank you again for choosing McLarty Daniel as your delivery dealer for your new Bronco!

Granger's normal $1,000-under-invoice deal is still in effect, but the $2,000-under-invoice deal was an October special targeted at buyers wanting to wait for a 2022 delivery. It is no longer available.

No. The email was silent about allocation or estimated delivery time, and I haven't spoken to them yet. They want me to customize my build via the B&P tool and then finalize the reservation by phone or in person. Presumably that will be when they address preliminary allocation and estimated position in the pecking order.

Yup, I received the same email from McLarty Daniel Ford Lincoln on South Walton from Jason. I have a 7/19 reservation with them.

Yesterday, I received this email from Pam/MD, which had the commonly asked questions at the bottom.

--------------------------------------------

We have great news! Ford Motor Company is finally opening order banks for the Bronco starting January 20th through March 19th. We currently have over 190k reservations nationwide! Due to overwhelming demand, Ford Motor Company will have a shortened production model year 2021 Bronco.

Ford has communicated that certain accessories, features and combinations will not be available for the 2021, therefore many of our current reservation holders will extend to the 2022 model year. If you choose to wait for some of the late availability options or for the 22MY, please be assured your reservation spot in line will remain when those options become available.

Free Demand:
  • Big Bend
  • 4 Door
  • 2.3L
  • Soft Top
Extended wait times options:
  • 2.7L EcoBoost Engine
  • Sasquatch Package
  • Wildtrak trim
  • 2-Door
  • Lux Package
  • Leather Seats
  • Hart Top
Late availability options:
  • Black Panted Modular Hard Top
  • Dual Tops (Soft Top & Hard Top Both Shipped with Vehicle)
  • All Black Interior Seating Option on First Edition
Available for 2022 Bronco:
  • Manual Transmission with Sasquatch Package
  • Matching Body Color Painted Modular Hard Top
  • Contrasting White Painted Modular Hard Top
  • Roof Rack with 4 Door Sasquatch Package
  • Slide Out Tailgate Factory Installed
We need to schedule an appointment with you to go over your order, discuss delivery timing, and availability of packages and options.

Please reply with your desired appointment date and time. In the meantime, please make sure to check out the Ford Build & Price tool to customize the Bronco of your dreams. Once you’re finished, be sure to print and bring with you during your consultation.

Thanks. I didn't receive the email from Pam. Maybe they are going in order? My reservation was a day later than yours, so I may be further down on their contact list.

At least the additional deposit, if eventually required, is fully refundable.

Let us know how it goes.

Below is the link to Granger’s standing offer to Internet customers for $1,000-under-invoice. New reservations and transferred reservations qualify.

Pretty quiet lately. Anyone still with Lewis Ford in Fayetteville?
I haven't changed and have a first hour reservation, so I'm hoping I'm one of their early allotments.
Ordering a 2dr MT BD with no options, so hopefully they have parts in stock to build it soon.
I got a call from Tucker at Lewis yesterday to order mine and had to give him the bad news that I moved both of my reservations. I enjoyed dealing with him but he, like most dealers, was clueless about the Bronco process. He even warned me about the dealers offering discounts because Ford sets the price, not the dealer

I still have one reservation at Granger (October) and one 7/13 reservation at Stephens. I'll probably go ahead and order one from Stephens this week unless Levine reveals MY22 colors by then and there's one I can't live without.

One other option is Laura Ford near St. Louis who's doing $2k off MSRP. That looks a little better than it did originally since invoice pricing is higher than folks were expecting, at least on the base model.

Did he say how many reservations he had and what his initial allocation estimate was?
