I was 8 months to get my 4 door magnum stirrups. They are pretty sweet, but dude! Ordered last October and just received last week.

A restocking/cancellation fee is absolute chicken -&$) when you have a 6 month minimum waiting list and you can’t meet your delivery times, not even by a couple weeks

i did agree to it
My word and his and the contract was made

if I buy anything made by them it will be in stock or second hand

Charge more, get the waiting list down

THATS the American way.

I ordered 2 sets of lights from AR over a month ago. I had sent multiple emails to AR asking for updates along the way. To get even a one line response from them took weeks. Then they just try to placate you to continue to wait. I called the manufacturer directly to see if there were any issues on the supply side. There were not. They actually called the the distributor, while I was on the phone, to see if AR had ever placed my order through them, they had not. Again, at over a month after my order had been placed with AR, they never placed my order with their distributor. This is who you are dealing with.
Did you order Baja Designs lights from them too? I ordered the fog light kit and A-pillar kit on May 30 and still have not heard anything. They keep telling me they resolved the issue and to see tracking in 2-3 days, but that was weeks ago. I plan on trying to get in contact with them again but I feel like they will just give me the same response

Just a note, if you go to their website and click on filter and pick “in stock” you will get these items in a week or so.
That’s what I thought, until I ordered Baja Designs lights over a month ago, and when I ask what the issue is, I’m told my order “slipped through the cracks”. Then I’m told on two separate occasions to expect tracking in 2-3 days, and weeks go by with no update.

Baja Designs customer service actually reached out to me and were way more helpful than AR, even though they couldn’t find out much info about my order.

They are definitely doing some shady business. I paid close to $1,000 for lights that should be in stock, but still waiting just as long as their custom products.

Maybe they have money issues and needed the money to fund another part of the business before they could order the lights from Baja Designs. If that’s the case that is some real shady business practice.

I am aware of your situation. Your order was never placed with their distributor either. That was as of 6/25. If you want to IM me. I can give you more details.

I inquired about inventory status, discount codes, and product info on Monday and received multiple responses within 5 minutes. Out of curiosity, what product(s) were ordered that are taking 6 months to fulfill?
Quick update on my experience...I asked about availability of BAM mount and within 5-10 minutes got a reply saying they were in stock (last Monday). Received shipping notification on Wednesday and just received an "out for delivery" notification this morning.

As others have mentioned, I would probably only purchase stock items or look on the used market if I care at all about having the parts in hand. Certainly, customer service could be better....just wanted to share my recent experience on purchasing an item that was in stock....

Ordered from them when I first got my Bronco. One of the most expensive rails on the market and not really impressed. The rails had a slight curvature upwards so the rail would always unstick. They never responded to my inquiry either. Not a fan.

This is exactly what happened to me. I ordered shackles. Happily paid the price for the high quality of the parts. My order was late. No communication. Finally got a BS response. They failed to follow through on a promise for an ETA and then they just cancelled my order when I pushed them to fulfill their promise for an ETA of delivery.

Bottom Line - AR makes great stuff but they lie about delivery estimates by months not weeks and they SUCK at customer service by simply gaslighting the customer and to put it nicely, dismissing any client concerns. They do this all the while filling their order bank with more orders through aggressive advertising and marketing taking our money upfront and then delivering on their production whenever they deem fit even if that is 6 to 8 months or even a year later.

The customer may not “always be right” but there are enough customers here that have the same exact issues that should tell them that they have an urgent need to invest in customer service and stop misinforming us with unreliable and unreasonable delivery estimates.

I hope they fix their issues quickly because no matter how good their products are, terrible customer service will end up catching up to them and will be their worst enemy.

They'll get to your email. They're doing their best to triage the inbox. Emails with an issue or question about an order they received take precedence over order update requests. Couple that with being shorthanded this summer with folks on vacation and that doesn't speed things up at all.
I cannot understand why people rise to the defense of companies like AR where customer service is nonexistent. If in fact they were doing their best there would be fewer complaints. I once asked what it was that attracted people to AR products and it came down to bragging rights and bling. Conspicuous consumption. One forum member went on about how good it felt to spend top dollar for an over the top product. I find that thinking bizarre. What good does a product serve that takes forever to arrive? AR makes things out of billet for no practical reason whatsoever simply because "it's cool." I just don't understand.
