I’ve got to say, it’s a great kit/mount. The instructions were very good, the install is well thought out and very easy, and being stainless and powder coated is an excellent detail for those of us living in corrosive environments. Overall I consider it a good value.

I installed the mount and bracket last weekend. ordered from 4x4truckleds. Overall, a straightforward install. Took a little time and patience. The instructions included for the mount were clear. I didn’t receive instructions for the bracket, not the chuck dust cover that I believe was supposed to be included with my kit.

After reading several threads and watching videos, the part I missed was the need to add some pretty solid end connectors to the ARB wire loom that connects to the battery. The necessary connectors and crimper were not something I had in the garage . Ended up ordering from Amazon. Took a couple days. Glad I realized this when I opened the boxes and laid the materials out on my work bench. At that point it was clear that I needed a way to connect the wires to the battery. I watched a few more videos, including one in which the guy melted the wire loom after using connectors not suited for the load.

I ordered this and it worked well:
