I'm wondering if you're giving this up because of the harsh reflection on the windshield. I have the black smooth one and I see a reflection on a sunny day right across my field of vision. I know someone that had the silver one like yours and that was his complaint.

I traded in the Bronco back in January. Honestly, I never had much of an issue with reflection from the rail. It may be partially seating height dependent and the tinted windows probably helped as well.
