My iPhone will connect and then I get the message like above. Then sometimes it will reconnect and other times not. Went for a drive with the wife to Ouray over Memorial Day weekend. Phone connected and stayed connected the whole 2.5 hours driving there. We are coming back and it kept connecting, disconnecting, connecting, disconnecting literally ever couple of minutes. Finally had to turn off the Bluetooth as it was irritating as hell!

Same luck here, every time there's a new update I have wireless connectivity issues and suddenly other issues come up that haven't happened before. I swear they fix one thing and break 3 new ones with every damn update. Really annoying!
It could be Apple because the disconnects happen in my Range Rover Sport.

If mine doesn’t connect on its own, I have to toggle the Bluetooth tab off from the iPhone, then toggle it back on. Then manually connect my iPhone from the phone list on the Bronco screen.

That happens to me from time to time. Usually the bluetooth connects on its own eventually or I'll plug in. Sometimes, I will just shut off the car and restart instead of toggling all the bluetooth settings, next time I'll try restarting the sync

I have found 1. Don’t connect your phone unless you are signed in to your phone already 2. Turn off your setting to sign in to your phone after 5 minutes. 10 minutes, etc. I’ve had zero problems with CarPlay after adjusting the require password settings

1. Is there a way to disable wireless CarPlay and force USB?

2. If so, would that help at all?

Does it work via USB?
My Bronco Bluetooth connection to my android phone is finicky. Every time I make my first call it will dial as if making the call, then go back to the radio. Doesn't complete the call over the vehicle. I don't hear the person called and they can't hear me. 2nd time it works!
