Anyone remove Badlands SAS skids?

Has anyone removed these factory plates/skids off of the badlands? Trail arms (I think) and replaced them with thicker ones? They are located on the frame in front of the rear wheels on my BL/SAS. It would appear that one could just cut out the 3 welds and replace with thicker skids or the rancho skids.

Not the shock skids - he is pointing out the skid on the trailing arm mount - under the front mounting location. I think BL and FE have those from factory. My WT does not.

I saw some other manufacturers are working on the skids like AC Fab. No eta.

The rear shock area is the first to hit because it hangs low like what lcubed showed picture of. Those are very important to have.

yup, you've got other problems if you've managed to smack the forward end without contacting the trailing arm first
