I’m interested in installing the ARB Summit bumper on my non-SAS OBX but would like to do as little tinkering with my suspension as possible and keep my OBX wheels and tires, but willing to do necessary upgrades to accommodate the extra weight of the bumper.
I talked with a rep and he told me that the actual weight of the bumper is 216 lbs without a winch. The website says 170. Anyone know if that’s true? Seems crazy heavy.
Does anyone have it on their rigs that are non-squatch? I’ve seen many threads on this but they’re all SASed up (pictures would be great!)
Also, do yall have any coilover/shock recommendations just for this bumper? I’m currently looking at the old man emu heavy load kit, but I’m not very interested in lifting my rig, unless it’s needed for the bumper.
I really like this bumper but just a little wary of the weight. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
