Thanks!

Will this work with most dashcam brands such as Escort?

What would be needed to connect with accessory power?
I just know it puts out 5v (not sure how many amps) to the USB port. If your Escort has a USB power to supply it, you should be good to go.

If you want all-time power, I think you would want to tap into the fuse box, overhead lighting or AUX switches using your own wiring.

This converter can be installed in 20 seconds. Other solutions involve lots of time and the joys of body panel removal.

The harness is only for autodim mirror models right? I have the peasant non dimming mirrors and trying to find out how I can wire it to the AUX switches possibly.

I have a Blackvue DR 750 2 channel LTE with the battery pack. I will try to post photos with the hardwire connection on the 2021 Badland Lux SAS soon.

Pardon me if it's been posted but I couldn't find it yet.

Has anyone hardwired a dash cam yet in there bronco? If so where did you feed the wires? This is the first car I'm going to do any work on outside brakes so not really sure best routing for wires and everything.
Fyi. Just saw your post in the "similar threads" section after I made mine. Have you done the install yet?? If not, maybe this will help: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/thre...with-real-time-updates-and-radardector.28555/

i've always put dash cams in ALL my cars. I promise, a lot of trial and error and angry words. It's always best to hardwire in to either fuse box or OBD2. You want to be able to use the sentry mode where the car is monitored while the engine / ignition is off. it will record with bumps, loud noises, movement, vandalism, theft, etc. send straight to the cloud. It's really quite easy with a fuse tap or the right OBD2 tie in like this one:

Help please! I’m trying to hardwire my dash cam (Rex 3) to the fuse panel under the steering wheel.
why on earth did Ford have to make such impossible to deal with or find fuses!?
I can’t find an adapter or something to work.
I am a newbie at this and appreciate all the help.

Fuse #29 for constant hot, #35 for ignition. Need to pick up micro2 fuse-taps. Found on amazon. Grounding screw can be found under the steering column as well to the right of the fuse box.

I successfully installed two Garmin Mini 2 cams using the Parking Mode cable. Through testing I found that Fuse 29 and Fuse 35, both spares, provided the switched and the unswitched power supplies. I added an Add-a-Fuse to each.

Can you add a link to the 'add a fuse' you used? I've bought two sets off of Amazon, Micro 2 & 3 and they do NOT fit into the fuse box.
Ford service, and Napa couldn't help us out, either. They say it's brand new
