Curious as to how many people are getting the Badlands but not the Sasquatch package, do you feel the trim is sufficient for your needs and the upgraded package doesn't warrant the cost for you?
I'll be getting a non squatch BL with manual and that will be than sufficient for me as a DD. Both come with the Bilsteins which is my biggest want and I like the optional BL wheels better than the squatch so for me its an easy choice. The BL also has an option for the MTs as well, which doesn't mean mud terrain but multi terrain so not sure how they'll be on the road over the ATs, will have to see if it's worth it once the B&P is live.

I'm looking at upgrading from BD to BL because I want the 210 front diff with a manual. I've broken a front end before and it's not a cheap fix, I feel like it's my one 'must have' upgrade.

On those surveys Ford sent out they priced upgrading the Badlands to Sasquatch at $2500. Those are some very expensive tires they are adding.
And 4.7 gearing so not just tires. The only other way you can get 4.7 is if you get the manual.

I have a First Edition and a Wildtrak reserved. I might switch one of them to the Badlands. My issue is I will rarely take it off road (maybe once a year), so I feel like the 33s will be nicer on the road (vs the mud tire 35s). However, if the Sasquatch looks cooler because of the extra height, then I would want that. It comes down to whether the look outweighs the road noise from the 35s. I'm probably going to give up the FE reservation. I'm only interested in the Cactus Grey with White Top and a light interior like in the promo ads.
If your not taking it Off Road wouldn't an Outer Banks make more sense? Your never going to use the Front and Rear Lockers, Bilstein suspension or the sway bar disconnect you can use that extra money towards more tech and interior creature comforts.

As of right now, I’m planning on the Badlands without the Sasquatch.

I don’t think I need 35” tires and most of my off roading will be trails or sand. I’d probably consider the Wildtrak before the Badlands with Sasquatch.

I was going for the 2.3L, Manual, non-Sasquatch Badlands even before the reveal of no ManSquatch or Manual 2.7L. I have need of both lockers and the upgraded transfer case with 4A but not 35" MTs. The disco is a nice feature but I likely won't use it very often.

Currently reserved 4 door badlands, with no plan for Sasquatch. Likely optioning with Lux, hard top and 2.7l, depending on pricing.

The KO2’s on stock badlands are awesome tires both on and off road. No plans to go bigger.

I’m going for the Badlands stick no squash. I will probably take it off road maybe once or twice a year so no need to go crazy. When the B&P is out I will figure out if I am going lux or not.

Now if I just can get my daughters to stop trying to brow beat me into getting an automatic I will be all set.

Seriously, why would anyone pay up front for beadlock capable wheels on a Badlands that is used at all on the street? If someone wanted to use them, they would need another set of wheels and rubber for the road anyway. The sensible thing would be to save the money up front and only buy a set of beadlocks if they truly were going to use them.

The real question is; Is the option cost of the cosmetic (and likely never used extra utility) of the larger wheel/tire package more than the cost of a (possible) re-gear and conventional wheels/tires in the Samsqanch size? (and you could sell the factory 33's in about 15 seconds for a good bit of coin as well if you did not want them)

I would get the non squatch BL if it came with the 4.7 gears.

I have absolutely zero interest in Sasquatch.

Honestly, what originally drove me to the Badlands was wanting 2 simple things: Washout interior and high/lux package. We haven't ever had a off-road capable vehicle before, so while I do plan to take it off road (easy trails, snow, beach sand) at least a couple times a year, this will primarily be my daily driver.

No reason to take another hit to MPG (and wallet) just for the cosmetic effect of bigger tires. I've seen great reviews of the KO2s, so they should be just fine.

"Budget" 4 Door Badlands-Sasquatch Configuration - Using Survey Pricing

Four Door Badlands - $44590
Destination Charge - $1495
Standard Package - $0
Sasquatch - $2500
2.3 EcoBoost with Auto Tranmission - $1600
Grey Hardtop - $700

Total: $50885

I would love your feedback regarding my potential 4dr Badlands Sasquatch configuration. My desires are:

Keep price down
Bad ass big tire look (high ground clearance good!)
Good highway vehicle. Yes, Bronco are not built for highways, but some will be better than others

What I don't care about are large screens, other electronics, heated seats and steering wheel, auto dimming mirrors, high beam assist, any other types of assistance, leather doo dads, remote start, floor lighting, etc, etc and on and on

Thanks for your help!
