Anyone else getting this message?

Had this pop up a few times. No soft brake pedal nothing wrong with braking. Took to dealer for recall updates & told them I was receiving that message said they couldn’t find any problems.

Hey Dave... FYI... I think you are suppose to send that to the FORD Bot in a "private" message...

click on the avatar ("FORD" logo on the left of their post) and click on "start conversation".... The conversation will only be able to be seen between you and the ford bot.

So you know and have been fore warned.... People do respond to the automated bot to varied degrees of success. Usually on the less successful side. at least that is what I hear. I hope I am wrong.

Now you took it to your dealer and they said they could not find anything? Have them tell you what codes were being thrown. If you were to post a code on here there are guys (and gals) that can tell you what your computer is saying to you... and then you will have 20 or 30 others all trying to diagnose what that means.... What really helps is when someone else has thrown the same code.

Just trying to help you help yourself... and to be honest... I would remove that last post to ford on an open forum...

Not that anyone looked at your VHR but.....the code that might be in there could be due to a special service message that directs the dealer to reprogram the ABS module with the latest software. If the vehicle was at the dealer on 4/2/2024, it might have received a bunch of software updates...just sayin'.
