many people prefer to fix simple things on their own avoiding a month long wait for dealer for a simple fix.Good then you have warranty, go to the Dealer.
How do you know is a simple fix?many people prefer to fix simple things on their own avoiding a month long wait for dealer for a simple fix.
check engine light came on friday. drove fine, this morning it wouldnt start, interior lights came on made me think it may be a battery issue? What kind of problem are you having? I have looked at a few hundred Bronco VHRs and almost all of them will have a string of codes that generally don't cause any issues. Some of those are likely related to the SSM for C210 under the dash. The one that concerns me because I've only seen it one other time is for the transmission fluid pump control circuit. Basically the pump that keeps the system pressurized when the auto stop-start kicks on.
Unless you're having an issue, warning message/light on or drivability problem, I wouldn't be overly concerned but would suggest getting it scheduled at the dealer.
By asking here to see if anyone has had a similar issue that can be fixed without a dealer trip. How do you know is a simple fix?
