Antenna sheered off. How to replace?

Just took the wife's Bronco to the car wash, noticed the FM reception was bad, but didn't think too much about it since she rarely lets me drive the vehicle. Got home and noticed the stubby antenna was sheered off (before I took it through the car wash). Any ideas on how to replace this?

Exact same happened to me. Was lucky enough to be able to unscrew that piece inside the opening. Either needle nose pliers or something that fits that opening so you can unscrew that piece. I put the original antenna back and got a refund on the stubby. Good luck.
