Another Ford V-8? Legit Bronco application!

You can't even get a V8 in a Raptor anymore. Why would it be available in a Bronco?

You can bet on a V8 in the next Raptor -- a GT500 or a heavily breathed-on 7.3 or 6.8 is the only way Ford will take the HP crown back away from Ram's TRX.

The more options, the better I say. I have no doubt a V8 would sell although I suspect if one is ever made available, it will be for an upper level trim or somesuch.

I don’t know sizes, But I heard they weren’t going to use the 3.5 L eco-boost because it was too big

It’s been a while since there was a v-8 thread ? This one is interesting because it’s thought to be in aluminum. It’s narrower than the Coyote too, so there is some possibility it end up in the Bronco. I have had no interest in a V-8 until I saw this, for a host of reasons. Possibly similar in weight, more torque than the 2.7? V-8 sound! Maybe I will lease this time and see if it comes out before goin all in on the 2021?

Fun to ponder! I hope we hear more, but probably still a ways out for 2022 or later. Just a rumor so far, but a good source.
