So where did I come up with the name Eleanor??

My mom passed away in 2020 a few weeks after the Bronco reveal. She was in home hospice and bed ridden with pancreatic cancer. We were staying with her to care for her. Watching the Bronco reveal was the last thing we really did before she took a turn for the worse. Mom's name was Eleanor. There it is. What else has the name Eleanor?? Yup you guessed it. The GiSS Mustang. And what color is that Eleanor?? Gray. Albeit pebble gray metallic. That is how I made my color choice. Carbonized gray was not my first choice. But when I came up with this plan it just fit.

So my Bronco is a slight nod to the Mustang. But a overall tribute to mom.

Out with the old and in with the new.

This was mother's day 2020. The last time I ever saw mom out of a hospital bed before she passed a few months later.

Great story and thanks for sharing. I too treasure those last few things before my dad passed. Wish he was here to see the new broncos. He taught me to drive on an 85 full size bronco. Now I have a 2022 I will teach my kid to drive and hopefully pass down someday as he did for me.

Yes what an awesome offer. I plan to get a low profile bull bar and run a set of KC rounds eventually. Billet grille would be an interesting touch.
