Installed the Alien Sunshade on my 4 door hardtop. Was easy to install and nice and tight plus one time install can put hardtop peace’s back on when needed.

I just looked at that one yesterday but didn’t believe in the “install once” claim.

Have you tried putting the hardtop on with the shade installed? The gap around the sunshade looks relatively large. Is that for that reason?

I ordered the Mabett instead (hasn’t arrived yet). Where I’m at in NorCal the days you want to have the roof off are limited :)

Would love to hear more about your experience.

With the Mabett, i picked up some extra magnets for the front middle. The loose flap seems to want to pop up, and it was a quick fix.. Just an FYI

I have had an Alien shade on my Jeep for the last 5 years and it’s held up, glad I can get one when my Bronco shows up in a couple weeks.

How do you access the back latches of the front two hard top pieces. For a 4-door?

Yes, that front flap is definitely not staying put :) Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll add some magnets today.

I picked up some 30 lb magnets at home depot, a little super glue did the trick.

I'm curious to know the same. I see pics of Alien Sunshade on Jeeps and they have two little squares that align with the hard top latches. I don't see any on the Bronco version.

Looking for a Bronco sunshade that can stay under the hardtop and is not a PITA to install and remove the panels. As noted the ones for the JKUs are usually two-piece which, while sacrificing a minute amount of coverage provides for easy access to all the latches.

@22Wildtrak what is the verdict on this after 1 year. I will never, ever take my hardtop fully off, all I need is a shade that can stay under it and does not severely interfere with the latches.

Last but not least, this one is rather extravagantly priced, particularly after the recent run-up in price from $130 to $200. Is it so much better than the Chinazon specials?
