Does anyone know if the swing gate can be completely removed? Would be interesting to see what a truly naked Bronco would look like.
If you have a wrench anything can be removed.

I like the bronco with the swing out gate. But I am sure there will be a bumper with tire carrier you can swap on. Someone will make it. This is available for most 4wd suvs. My brother is getting one for his toyota.

If you really want it, start calling the places that make the bumpers for other trucks and ask them if they will make a version for the bronco.

This is what makes Jeeps so great, there is such an aftermarket for upgrading them.

Part of this is that the Jeep changes so little. The Jeep JK was made for 11 years. I hope the bronco has a good long run too, with the accessories for it growing the whole time. If a pickup bronco is made and it is mostly the same as the suv that would make it even a bigger market for after market parts.

In another thread back before the reveal (that last leak showing the back six inches or so of it in profile), I figured out that the styling of the back end on the new Bronco doesn’t look right to me. There’s no angle to the back glass, making it look more like a Jeep than a Bronco to my eyes. Combined with the lack of a traditional fold-down tailgate, this back end styling is my biggest disappointment and biggest sticking point on committing to buying one.

Does anyone have any thoughts on the likelihood that the aftermarket will provide an angled hardtop and a tailgate conversion? If so, what would you expect these to cost? I haven’t done any research into Jeeps, but does anything similar exist in the Jeep world?

If the 4-door can be bought with a soft top only, and a more traditionally Bronco looking hard top sourced aftermarket, it’d solve half my whining!

For reference, this is the angle I’m referring to on previous Broncos.

Maybe the new Broncos won’t have the rust issues the ones with the angled glass did.

My understanding is the same company that does the Jeep hardtop makes the Ford hardtop. Ford may be limited in design choices until they show that they're a viable customer 🤷‍♀️

Also Ford may not have wanted to deviate from what should have been an easy production run until the supplier showed they were able to meet Ford demands.
